Stalybridge Celtic F.C. | A LLM Story
Hello again FMScout! This is my third and hopefully final attempt at a good story. My first story attempt was the World Cup Challenge, but it didn't get a great reception and took a long time to update/play through. My second attempt was an RCD Mallorca story, but I didn't find the team enjoyable. Lately I've been traversing through lower league management in England and France. LLM is a really fun way to play the game, and I wanted to start my own LLM story here. I'm hopeful that this story will be the one that lasts for a long time.
So who will I be playing as?
I'll be playing under my own persona - a 25 year-old, up-and-coming American, Mitch Collins. Collins is a recent college graduate and is really looking forward to getting started as a manager. For the team, I'll be using Stalybridge Celtic F.C. I wanted a team in the Skrill North or Skrill Premier that had a professional operating status, as being semi-professional really hinders your ability in a lot of ways. Stalybridge is just outside of Manchester and is a fairly small town. Celtic are entering their tenth consecutive season in the Skrill North, spending the past nine lounging around mid-table. Only two teams are promoted from the Skrill North each year so it is most certainly a challenge to win promotion.
