I'm going to do this story in addition to my Coventry Copsewood story. While it does seem good, I wont be successful at all in that last one as it is impossible to find a tactic. I have played with the club in this story several times in FM, and I will finally do a story about it. Please enjoy, I will make updates ASAP.
I have always lived in this town. It's a big town, but I don't know how many people have actually heard of it.

We're famous for a sport, a school and a jet engine. This town has 2 of the now few grammar schools in the UK.

If you haven't guessed yet, I'm talking about the town of Rugby. The sport was invented here, but we don't really have a rugby team here. Most people here support Leicester Tigers. Rugby School, of course, was where the sport was made. If you ever go into the town centre, you will see the giant rugby posts of Rugby School staring back at you.

In terms of sport, we are awful. Our most successful sport team is Rugby Town, who play football. They are nicknamed 'The Valley', even though there are no valleys around here. Southern D1C, 7 relegations from the Premier League, is the league that they play in. Their trophy cabinet holds about 10 trophies.

I'm going to take charge of Rugby Town, and I am going to take them to the Premier League.

Squad

Tactic

Key Player - David Bevan - GK

Transfers

Charlie Dove - DM - Fits right into our formation of 4-1-3-1-1, our only DM at the moment.
Luke Cork - M/AML - Craig Kelly wasn't good at all, so Luke came in to replace him.
Lee Royce - DL - Lee is a great left back at the age of 16, so he is only going to improve.
Nick Whelpdale - DC - We didn't really have any good centre backs either.
Sulaiman Bangura - DC - Declared for the Sierra Leonean national team, and he is 20!
Josh Gordon - ST - A hot prospect, I think I will send him out on loan.

Ross Miller - DC - Bad coach, even worse player.

Friendlies

I can only describe it as 50/50

Authors notes:
Some good transfers, but a pretty average pre-season. All I can hope for is that my tactic works and I can get promoted first time of asking.
