Hello folks! I'm doing an FM Classic: The one and only... Truro City. -10 points, under a transfer embargo, bloody hell it'll be hard.

The Boss: After Going into administartion, they could only find one man to take over: a man called Alex Booth. A former Tigers player. He played as high as Luton at one stage and had a decent career at clubs such as Bradford, Brentford and AFC Wimbledon until going to Truro at the twighlight of his career. He retired after helping to keep Truro up in the 11/12 season. He was a solid 6"9 CB and was an absolute rock.

Predicted Position: 21st: A team with very little depth, I struggle to see anything in this squad. After such success last season, I'm afraid an idiot of a chairman called Keith Heaney has, well, pretty much relegated them.

Rules: Only allowed to have 18 players, Only allowed to sign out of contract players. Must keep wages under £5,000 at all times or else liquidation. Allowed to offer whatever chairman allows.
Good luck mate !

captainbrickarms: Cheers!

Calum Flanagan: He is cover for an injury-prone Hodges who is on the verge of retirement, and Ash. Simply 'cos I don't trust Bobby Hopkinson in that position. Flanagan is a classic CB with over 10 heading and tackling. He can also pass his way out of trouble which is very handy.

Value for money: 4/5

Ryan Stayte: As I only need to pay him £120 p/w, Les Afful drops down to LM and Hopkinson is on the bench, I signed this guy. He is only young and has great potential. However, he only has 4 stamina which means he tires easily.

Value for money: 3.5/5

Jordan Collins: Probably the best of the signings I made. He only costs 120 p/w and has great stats. 1st Choice LB for sure!

Value for money: 6/5 (he's that good)

Tom Marshall: Not great... yet, he is a decent utility player and will be useful on the bench. Can play CM or LM
Value for money 3/5

Beyond my control: Sadly, Stewie Yetton. Couldn't afford his big wages. I'm really, really sorry folks.

Marcus Martin: Useless CM.

Done alright in the window. Apart from not having Yetton I have a decent team.

Peharps I should have signed some cover for Paul Hider in goal. Maybe a more experienced RB, even a new striker (personally I'm happy with Kieffer Moore and Andy Watkins with Barry Hayles as cover.)

I have a question, I have 3 Strikers:

Barry Hayles: quite good but old age (40) causes injuries

Andy Watkins: Good goalscorer but not great in the air

Kieffer Moore: Young and promising, good goalscorer and good in the air but low stamina (7-10)

I prefer Moore and Watkins personally. What do you think?
