Is it strongly recommended to show onto someone`s weaker foot or to close somebody when my assistent tells me that? Because... in some matches... all the time I do only that.
i do it, but i dont bother tooo much about it.
because it doesnt fucking work at times, hopefully these small tactical things will improve come fm 2010
i tend to use this option when im playing against bigger teams, im everton and when i use this the player/s i stick this on still finds a way to get a goal at times, although i close down, mark tight, show onto weaker foot and of course tackle hard, but like i said they still manage to get a goal most of the times.
Depending on the type of player, I usually choose to tight mark someone rather than closing them down always. IIRC, tight marking causes your player(s) to try and stop an opposing player from getting the ball entirely, whereas closing down tends to make your player(s) show up too late - usually right after the attacking player has already crossed the ball. :O_o
if you look at mirko vucinic who has excellent stat..
do you notice that he's only able to use his right foot..?
but he almost scores everyday when I meet Roma..
Show onto weaker foot is not good enough..
huh..
as a rule I tend to show all mid and forward players onto weaker foot, I close down one of the CMs and their stronger winger. I don't know how much it helps, but i'm just in the habit of doing all those things now
I read somewhere that if they have tall strikers who are good at heading then you should show their wingers inside and if they have fast strikers you should show them down the line. If their both, then use weaker foot.
Sounds obvious, but i bet not many people do it.
