The Introduction

In this story I will play as the great Dutchman, Dennis Bergkamp. He is an Arsenal Legend who was placed in Pele's top 100 footballers of all time. His playing career started at Ajax, where he practised his craft for seven years, scoring 122 goals in 237 games. After his prosperous life at Ajax, Bergkamp moved to F.C Internazionale, making 81 appearances, scoring 30 goals in three years. Then things changed for Dennis when he moved to the firing cannons of Arsenal football club, where he stayed for over a decade. In this passage of his career he scored 120 goals in 423 games. He also had an incredible goal to game performance with the Netherlands national team, making 37 goals in 79 games between 1990 and 2000.

Dennis is now moving back to North London, as he takes on the challenge of being Arsene Wenger's successor, managing the great Arsenal Football Club.
Great choice of manager, I will be following!

Gunners Capture Duo

Bergkamp's Arsenal have splashed out a sum of £22.8M on two players, Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez and FC Porto's defensive midfielder Fernando. This marks Bergkamp's first venture into the market as he brought in two bargain players, Alexis Sanchez for £18M and Fernando for £4.8M. Sanchez has signed a five year deal lasting till June 2018 whereas Fernando has signed on until 2017. It is rumoured that Bergkamp is in the market for a CB, but we will see if he has the funds required.
Very good signings!

Subotic Starts Firing

Arsenal have signed Borussia Dortmund center back Neven Subotic for a reported fee of £6.75M, during this announcement it was confirmed that Bacary Sagna has extended his contract to 2017, while Rosicky and Gnabry have decided to stay until at least 2016.

August 2013

"Me and my Arsenal have had a fantastic start to the season, securing our place in the Champions League Group Stage in two good performances against Grasshopper-Club Zurich, whilst I have managed to position us in the number 1 spot in the Premier League. However this could easily change, with Manchester City looming 2 points below us and being our next opposition. Hopefully the Gunners can perform to their best and my boys can create a victory to lead us on a great path, to eventually Lead us to the Premier League title." - Dennis Bergkamp, Arsenal Manager.

Thanks man, by the way I love your story, the graphics are amazing and even though your results haven't been particularly ideal you make it enjoyable to read.
Arsenal is a beast in FM 2014, or at least that's the impression I got from playing a few seasons with them... Prepare for good results :) good luck
