Today Schalke general manager Horst Help announced that the link between FC Schalke 04 and Jens Keller has been terminated.

"Due to the lack of results of the last season we decided to end our collaboration and we will be looking for a new head coach. We already have someone in mind, we only need to work out the contract details We hope that today we will finalise the deal."



Schalke 04: Today Schalke 04 announced the new head coach, he is a former international player, Jurgen Muller, born december 1970, FC Schalke is his biggest contract of his career. He managed only lower league clubs from Germany, he is realy unknown in the football world.

A source inside the club said that he has already met the players and said to them that a club like Schalke 04 should fight every year for the Bundesliga title with Bayern and Borussia and thats' what he expects from them.

Jurgen Muller has already started his work and attended his first training session where the new signings were present: Sidney Sam and Chupo-Moting.

Now - let's meet Schalke 04:

Schalke 04 is one of the biggest teams in Germany, also known as the miners. The play in Gelsenkirchen, wich is not a big city in Germany, located in Westfalia.

Never won the modern Bundesliga, they won the German title 7 times, last time in 1958, a very long period for them.

A relatively succesful team in European football, semifinalists in the Champions League in 2011 and winners of the UEFA Cup in 2007.

FC Schalke 04 play their home games at Veltins Arena, one of the most modern stadiums in Germany and in Europe.

Jefferson Farfan seen at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, FC Liverpool sources indicate that the peruvian winger will have hid medical at Melwood for a supposed transfer to the Reds, but nothing is certain yet.

Schalke fans have devided opinions about this transfer, some of them are saying that they would not be sad if he left the club if they got a good transfer fee, some of them don't want to see him leave.

It was a surprise to anyone when Horst Held announced today, in a press conference, the new signing of Schalke 04.

Held: I am pleased to announce that we have signed a new player, it's Keylor Navas, from Levante. We bought him for a fee of 6M euro and we hope that he will be a big bust for the team.



Press: What about a replacement for Farfan?

Held: At the moment we have Sam and Clemens on that position so we don't think that a replacement is needed.

Press: Are there going to be any other transfers?

Held: I realy can't tell you that at the moment, it's up to Jurgen Muller, he's the head coach, he works with them, if he needs any other players we will discus this with him.
