Splitting up the United Kingdom

Basically, I'm messing around in the editor trying to make Wales (both the national team and the league) very strong as a secondary more playful save to my main, serious one.
What I'm trying to do, is split up the UK for nationality purposes, i.e. after 5 years of playing in Wales, I want a a player to have Welsh nationality, and thus be eligible for national selection. I know this is set up for the UK, but it messes up sometimes, especially if someone moves between England and Wales during their time in the UK. Under nationalities, where it says nationality and days left, etc, I want it to say Wales/England/Scotland or whatever instead of United Kingdom
I know I've not worded this terribly well, but if someone understands what I'm trying to do, and knows, I'd be really grateful.

I also realise the home national agreement has to have something to do with this, so has anyone ever managed to get rid of it?
