Since I'm already 4 seasons into my Lyon save I thought I'd make my first contribution on here with one of my other favourite FM leagues, Italy and Udinese. I'am no writer so this will just be updates and thoughts etc, no real story telling but I hope you enjoy anyway. :)

Udinese Calcio -

Udinese play in the 21711 capacity Friuli stadium which is currently undergoing modernisation and an expansion to 25000 fully seated capacity to bring the stadium into line with Fifa regulations.

Udinese's squad is built for wing backs with no real width in midfield I've gone with a 5-3-2 tactic utilizing their wing backs and very tricky forwards Di Natale and Muriel.

For trickier games I adapt the settings a little and drop a midfielder if I feel the need.

Another great month for the team with a great win against our fierce rivals Napoli thanks to a Di Natale hat-trick. He might be 36 years old but what a beast Antonio Di Natale has been in our low tempo controlling play.

What a shocking bloody month, we just couldn't find the damn goals and our striker are just playing really poor. Also all of a sudden we're taking only bloody long shots, the whole month would have been a loss if not for the late comeback against Lazio but still that was thanks to their own goal scored.

Managers View

The start of the new year finished as bad as the end of the previous year, we're conceding far to many goals all of a sudden and aren't putting the ball into the back of the net like we were early in the season. Our small squad is starting so rack up the injuries with 3 of our 4 wing backs out injured for 3 weeks to 3 months along with our keeper and centre back out for 2 months.

The only high point of the month was a Italian Cup Qtr Final win over Juventus....... Not that we deserved it lol.
