Dennis Bergkamp - The Iceman

This is the rebirth of my Arsenal story, Dennis Bergkamp - An Arsenal Story. This is caused by a crash on the game on 17/1/14. This made me want to create a new story so I'm just rebooting my old one...

So Who Am I?

You guessed it! I am playing as Dennis Bergkamp, Arsenal and Netherlands legend. The Forty-Five year old was born on 10 May 1969, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. At youth level he represented Ajax Football Club, before making his first team debut in 1986 at Sixteen years of age (He went on to score 122 goals in 237 appearances). After his time in his home country, he travelled to Italy - playing for F.C. Internazionale for three years, achieving a tally of 30 goals in 81 games. He became a legend at his next club, Arsenal F.C., He accomplished the second-greatest achievement in English Football, as he was one of AFC's mighty Invincibles. As he scored 120 goals in 423 game she became an Arsenal legend, I hope to carry on his playing legacy into a managerial triumph. wish me luck!

One Out, Three In!

After the wake of Arsenal's friendly 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich, Dennis Bergkamp has announced that Lukas Podolski has left the club for AS Monaco for £9M. However Arsenal already have their replacements. Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad, £3.4M), Nemanja Matic (SL Benfica, £11.25M) and Xherdan Shaqiri (Bayern Munich, £19M) have all joined the club, draining AFC of over £33M in one swoop. Vela has signed a five-year contract, along with Shqiri and Matic, all devoting their futures to Arsenal Football Club. However Arsenal are rumoured to be in for even more players.

Two More For Bergkamp!

Ahead of Arsenal's match against Mallorca (The opening game of their Spanish Pre-Season Tour), Dennis Bergkamp released more news about his club, Arsenal FC. Bergkamp announced that AFC have concluded two more signings, Fernando (FC Porto, £4.4M) and Neven Subotic (Borussia Dortmund, £7M). These signings were felt needed by the Arsenal Fans as it was widely recognised we needed a boost in defence along with our already upgraded defensive midfield.

The Arsenal Are Here!

On Friday, 16th August Dennis Bergkamp held his Pre-Match Press Conference for Arsenal's Premier Division game against Cardiff City. In a surprise turn of events the Arsenal manager revealed he had signed the former Real Madird player Jese Rodriguez on a four-year contract running up to June 2017 for a total fee of £8.25M. It seems that Arsenal's owners have given newly hired manager, Dennis Bergkamp, a warchest to craft the team to his liking. Bergkamp also confired Serge Gnabry has signed a new five-year contract while Tomas Rosicky and Bacary Sagna are not being given new contracts and will leave the club come June 2014.

I quite like the current layout but when we get to the league and cups I'll do pictures for them.

August Report 13/14

"By the standards I set myself and the team we have had a decent month, our performances have been excellent but unfortunately we lost as The Hawthorns in our last match. I will confirm now that my goal as Arsenal manager is to win the Premier League title and recreate Arsenal's stature in world football; I will attempt to create a new generation of invincible's and regain The Arsenal spirit." - Dennis Bergkamp, Arsenal FC Manager.

September Report 13/14

"After the signings of Carlos Vela, Xherdan Shaqiri, Nemanja Matic, Fernando, Neven Subotic, Jese Rodriguez and the latest signing of Chelsea youth academy graduate Connor Hunte has left many believing Bergkamp would crack under the pressure he has put upon himself. In last month's statement he expressed his desire to recreate the glories of Arsenal Football CLub and win the league in his first season; despite this Bergkamp has made an excellent start. Arsenal have secured eight wins wins, one draw and one loss in ten games (in all competitions) to maintain an eighty percent win rate among the Arsenal camp. We are all looking forward to the continuation of Dennis' reign as he is a club legend and one of the best players AFC have ever had." - Henry King, Arsenal Supporter.
