The Gunners start afresh...

Arsene has left Arsenal, and the board opted to appoint me to rebuild after his departure.

April "Crunchtime" summary

The month of April held nine matches for us, in all competitions. Our opening game against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu was played into a 2-1 defeat, Wilshere getting a crucial away goal. I was actually pleased with this result because we needed just a goal and clean sheet at home. We went on to beat Swansea at home, Serge Gnabry filling in for a tired squad and excelling with a goal once again. We then hosted Madrid at the Emirates and wouldn't you know it, Mesut Ozil grabbing a double against his former club. The only downside to the game was that Wilshere broke his leg and was out until October, bringing his fine season to an early end. The FA Cup semi final (4th game in 13 days) against Stoke City, Theo Walcott scoring the only goal and continuing his incredible form. He got another goal against Newcastle in a 2-0 win, Arteta also scoring in a MOTM performance. We were drawn against Man United in the UCL semi finals but had them in the league at Old Trafford before the game at the Emirates in the UCL. We drew 2-2, Giroud and Ozil giving us the 2-1 comeback until the 79th minute when Mata equalised. I played a similar game against them at home, and we won 3-1, Walcott getting one and Giroud getting a double in a stunning performance. We won the Premier League days after, with a 1-1 draw at Fulham with a fringe reserve team to save fitness for the UCL return leg, Mertesacker scoring our goal.http://i57.tinypic.com/28amfwn.jpg
We hit some good form towards the end of our Premier League season, our January transfers were incredible. Doria instantly became first choice centre back and Wanyama being a rock in midfield. We still had a game to play in April though. Away to Manchester United, we had lost Ozil for three months after the Fulham game, so our two best playmakers (IMO) were out for the season. We had to play Cazorla in the hole against United but he stepped up and scored a beautiful free kick, the only goal of the game. We were still on course for a spectacular treble. We would play the FA Cup final against a surprisingly good Blackburn Rovers side, who had beaten Aston Villa, Southampton and Man United on their route to the final. We had the Champions League final against a strong Bayern Munich team...

The end is here, can we complete a treble?...

We won our final two Premier League fixtures, a 2-1 win away to Liverpool and a 5-2 win against West Brom. We got Giroud to be the Premier League's top scorer with 25. The footballer of the year in the league went to Theo Walcott with 15 goals and six assists. Szczesny came third in the golden glove, being one clean sheet off first and due to less appearances from the second place winner, he came third. In the players' team of the year, Giroud and Walcott made it through with Szczesny getting a place on the bench. http://i59.tinypic.com/or5her.jpg
So; The FA Cup final. It was a simple affair. We never were on equal terms after we scored. Well I say 'we.' Matthew Kilgallon scored an own goal, we then doubled our lead through Theo Walcott. Blackburn pulled one back through Gestede but we scored another one through Aaron Ramsey. Blackburn kept the game up however, scoring another, Jordan Rhodes finishing off a nice counter attack. We still won the game and the cup 3-2, Koscielny having a terrible game but I will still play him for the UCL final.
In the build up to the final, Oxlade Chamberlain got injured in training, and only had 84% fitness by the day of the final. I decided to play Cazorla on the left, Ramsay in the centre, Walcott on the right, with Wanyama and Asamoah behind them. We took the lead against Bayern through Kwadwo Asamoah finishing past Neuer. Bayern barely threatened at all. On the 40th minute we won a penalty, Asamoah dispatching cooly to make it 2-0 against one of the toughest teams in Europe. We then got another penalty, eight minutes after half time. Asamoah had a hattrick in the Champions League final and we cooly won the game and therefore the treble. It has been a wonderful season! We got goal of the tournament through Jack Wilshere's chip over Buffon at the Emirates and had three players in the team of the tournament. Ozil, Wilshere and Szczesny earning places. Thanks for reading and I would like some feedback, should I leave, I want to try Newcastle or a "lesser team." Perhaps might try my hand abroad? DROP COMMENTS, my preferences are Juventus, Newcastle or Valencia.
Also, if I was to go with those teams, I would just kick the other manager off the game and try and apply for the job
