About the club

Rasenballsport Leipzig is a very unique and new club in Germany, which was founded only 5 years ago!
RB was gaining promotion, after promotion, after promotion and is now starting at the season 2014/15 in the second Bundesliga.
Rasenballsport has some affiliatons, with RB New York or RB Salzburg, which could really help the team to grow more and more, as the teams can send players on loan from one club to another!

The Stadium

The Red Bull Arena has 44.345 seats and is 105m x 68m long and wide.
A stadium like that has to be a first league stadium, that's what our goals are!

Transfers

We're really happy with the transfers we made so far in the Pre-Season with the capture of Samuel Galindo from Arsenal London, Hoffenheim player Bruno Nazario or Patrick Olsen from Inter Milan! The last two are loaned, but we can buy both of them for not even 4 mio. €
Also it was a good transfer, as we sold Georg Teigl for 1 mio.€, as we didn't needed him and he would've not getting any playing time!

Tactics

We want to make every game an offensive firework, the fans should enjoy every game, that is what we owe them!
We aim for a direct passing style and we want to keep the opponent in their own half as we want to be very dominant!
Good luck mate! It will be nice to see another RB Leipzig story! :D

Pre-Season Update

Transfers

We won't make any more deals, unless we can get rid of some players from our second team, which we are offering to other teams in order to save some wages!
Only if the right player became available we might make a deal, but i wouldn't bet on that!

Friendlies

Our friendlies were a little problematic, as 3 games had been postponed in the last minute and we only made 3 games instead of 6.
Hopefully this won't effect the fitness of the players, as we had our training and game plans made up and because we thought we had 6 friendly games

We had two great games against austrian side SV Horn as we had won with an incredible 5-1 and we saw a hattrick from Daniel Frahn and the two new players Massimo Bruno, who was recalled from a loan move to Red Bull Salzburg, and Rani Khedira.
Another 5-1 was seen against belgian side Liege. Daniel Frahn again scored 2 goals.
A real test was the friendly game against Champions League participant Anderlecht. That is the level we are aiming to be in a few years. We lost 0-2, but we played really well. We need to work on our defensiv movements and than we can challenge for the 6-9 place in the 2.Bundesliga!

August Update

We started this seasons 2.Bundesliga campaign in a fancy way, as we won our first two games against Aalen (2:1) and against promotion-favourite Greuther Fürth (6:3).
The DFB-Pokal game against Bundesliga side Werder Bremen was a turn around in this month, as we lost 0:2, but we did deserve more and we wasted loads of chances.
The next fixture against another promotion-favourite Hertha BSC Berlin was lost in the last 10 minutes and the next 3 matches also weren't as succesful, as we hoped to, as we drawed against Energie Cottbus, MSV Duisburg and FSV Frankfurt.

We are in the area we aim for at the end of the season, but we could've achieved more against Duisburg, Cottbus and Frankfurt.
As we had seen, we can be a real threat for the other teams and we could set our goals (6-9th place) maybe even a little bit higher in a few months, when things stay the same!

September Update

What a month, 4 games were to play and all 4 of them were lost!
I don't know what to say, nothing I tried worked on the pitch, if we countered, attacked or defended, nothing worked!

Well we moved down a lot, we're only on the 14th place and are really struggling to keep up with the top10!

Trouble in Leipzig!

Director of football Ralf Ragnick steps back from his job and takes over as the new AJ Auxerre Manager. Ragnick said that he "wasn't able to work under some circumstances!"

No one knows what he meant with that statement, but it seems that Leipzig are having some trouble amongst the board and staff members!
this story has come to an end, as i've been sacked, right after Ralf Ragnick left!
