so I've just finished my second season with man utd and I've won 1 premier league, 2 FA cups, 1 Europa league (yeah did poor in the champ league in m 1 st season) and a champions league and I've just finished runner up to man city by just 1 point I also reached the capital cup final but got beat 1 nil off of Chelsea........the reason I ask this is because I haven't played fm in a couple of years properly...I know winning things with a team like utd is no big deal but am I doing okay? I'm thinking of leaving and going down a division or to a different country. what do you guys think?
Exploring other countries or managing lower division teams will give you some different experience than handling a high profile team. you will face some difficult situations. I think you should give it a try.

yeah I was thinking of resigning and going to championship club idk what do you think? I also want to master the 3-5-2 (well atleast be successful) and I'm thinking 1 more season trying that formation with utd and then move on what do you think?
You just need to move on when you want to move on, I always do lower league football as I prefer it, you will learn much more about the game in the lower leagues and in a way it is a bit easier with a bigger club and bigger budgets.
Go for one more season and then move to another club!

if you can master 3-5-2, you can move to Serie A, I have seen so many clubs in there that use 3-5-2. other clubs outside UK have a lower transfer and payroll budget. now its up to you if you want to move on. But my advice will be to move on to another country and face new challenge. From my experience, I have faced a lot of difficulties while managing an Italian club; no matter how good or bad the club is. so give it a try, see how it goes.
2014-08-03 19:57#188027 safc73 :Lower league management is all about the race to the top division. I've managed in quite a few different leagues all around the world in my 6/7 different FMs and the Championship is by far the most exciting league I have ever managed in. I've managed Vauxhall, Luton, Bristol Rovers, Blackpool, Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City over the years and it is always the Championship which really excites me. The quality of football is extremely high for a second-tier division and, combined with the financial rewards and the atmosphere at each game, it is almost as exciting a league to play in as the Premier League, if not more exciting!2014-08-03 16:48#188007 dark_boy : Exploring other countries or managing lower division teams will give you some different experience than handling a high profile team. you will face some difficult situations. In terms of other leagues; Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Holland and Portugal are all known qualities. A nice European league to manage in, in my opinion, is the Danish Premier League. It has a lot more quality than people think, some of the best youth intakes in Europe and a very solid league structure. Of course the main objective there would be to qualify for the Champions League group stages and look to progress in to the knock-out rounds, while not having the reputation which the major European clubs have in their possession. If you get some very good, cheap players in, you could become a real force in Europe.
cheers for the advice........ gonna jump ship now because I've only been given a not so great budget and Man city are buying everyone.... bale, muller, garay..... combine that with the players they already have. I don't think I can match them (my team is ageing) just applied for the SC bastia job in French ligue 1
