Paris St Germain - Pas regarder en arrière
Paris St Germain a club with a short but sweet story. Now one of the financially soundest clubs in the world of football they hope too make large strides foward and became a european powerhouse. With an abundance of talent and financial strength this would seem like an easy challenge but with many clubs on the rise and the usual giants of european football still in commanding positions this would seem harder than you think.

End of pre season team report - Paris St Germain

PSG brung there fairly poor pre season to an end last night with a sketchy win on penalties
against En Avant De Guincamp too win the french champions trophy. with a record of 4 wins and 3 losses this is fairly poor for the squad list that PSG have with the mainly average teams they faced.

Chivas 2 - 3 PSG
A well deserved hattrick from star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic helped his PSG side defeat an on form Chivas team in Mexico as Paris St Germain get there pre season underway.

Tigres 2 - 0 PSG
Emmanuel Villa scores a magnificent brace to secure a fantastic victory over Paris St Germain as Tigres pull off a top drawer performance against the spanish giants

PSG 0 - 2 Wolfsburg
Paris St Germain succumb to there second defeat of there pre season with a shock defeat to german side Wolfsburg with Robin Knoche and Ricardo Rodriguez getting the pick of the goals

Getafe 4 - 1 PSG
PSG continue there poor streak of form as they slump to another defeat against mid table spanish side Getafe. Adrian Colunga(2), Sammir and Angel Lafita scored the goals for the Liga BBVA team while Lucas Moura scored PSGs only goal of the game.

Daegu 0 - 3 PSG
Edison Cavani scored a hattrick to gift PSG only there 2nd victory this pre season as they end there 3 match losing streak against asian side Daegu

Seongnam 0 - 1 PSG
Clement Chantome scored possibly the best goal any asian football fans could have asked for as he drives a 39 yard free kick into the Seongnam net as PSG control the game and finish with a win.

EAG 2 - 2 PSG(P)
PSG seemed under pressure for a while in the firt half before 2 quick fire goals from new signing Alexandre Lacazette and an OG from Benjamin Angoua, but it was not game over as EAG fought on to pull the scores back to level as they searched for penalties which Paris St Germain won 4-2 to lift there first trophy of the season.

PSG play through August unbeaten

PSG record a flawless record as the first month of Ligue 1 comes to an end. With 2 wins and 2 draws Paris St Germain will be happy that they now seem to be on the straight and narrow after a very poor pre season
there first win came against FC Lorient were they looked dominant with Edison Cavani and Yohan Cabaye scoring the goals before Lorient grabbed a late goal which only proved to be no more than a consolation.

They then went on too play out 2 stalemate draws against FC Metz and LOSC Lille were both sides failed to score as Metz and Lille failed to take the advantage of being the home side.
But the poor form infront of goal didnt last long as the Les Parisians hammered EAG at the Parc Des Princes 4-1 with Edison Cavani scoring a fantastic brace and new signings David Luiz and Kevin Kampl finishing off Guincamp. Things are looking bright this season for PSG as they look to turn "The Parc" into a fortess.

New manager Lewis Stewart had this to say about his squad."Yeah its been a decent month, of course were not at the apex of the table but that doesnt really matter 4 games in does it? All is good and i can see the team starting to adapt to each others styles of play and were also playing fantastic at home.I can really see us being a force to be reckoned with this season, even in Europe."
