So, where to start? Many teams have just been switching leagues!

Stockport County
Stockport made back-to-back promotions to League Two before getting relegated after three years there. They were then relegated back to the Conference North straight away, before suffering a third successive relegation to the Northern Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur
One year after finishing as Premier League runners up and Champions League semi-finalists, Tottenham went into administration and were relegated. A season later, they were relegated to League One with -7 points.

Tranmere Rovers
Tranmere, after getting relegated to League Two, earned three successive promotions and made Premiership football, winning the League Cup and Europa League on the way.

Brentford, AFC Bournemouth, Yeovil Town and Peterborough United
These four clubs all earned back to back promotions and made Europe, with Bournemouth and Yeovil coming third and fourth, Peterborough fifth and Brentford winning the FA Cup.

Bury Town
Isthmian League outfit Bury Town made an astonishing five successive promotions - yes, five - and ended up becoming a formidable Championship club.

Liverpool
Liverpool were relegated a season after Tottenham. They had won the League and Champions League double just one season previously!

Has anyone else experienced these things? If so, feel free to leave a reply below!
In real life, Leeds made the Champions League semi-final and just 6 years later were rock bottom League One on-15 points. 4 years later they were chasing back-to-back promotions and failing that, have spent the last 3 years wandering around mid-table in the Championship
@lufc4eva:

I remember that time! I also remember Leeds' relegation to the Championship. It meant that Everton survived. Blackpool are another club - made Premier League, got relegated and just missed out on promotion, and they're now surely going down to League One. Sheffield United made the playoffs just before their relegation. It's sad really.
Sunderland

It is 2021/22 season and Gary Cahill leads the Black Cats to second in the league, just pipped by Manchester United to the title. But after a summer of heavy spending, and season of a relatively successful (at first try) Champions League, they could not survive the Premier League's drop, finishing 19th, only to be promoted, as champions the next season.
My Chelsea Save year 2027

Luton Town
Promoted all the way to Premiership won everything apart from Premiership and Champions League went into administration went all the way down to League 1 then got back to back promotions and now a top half team and occasionally getting into the Europa League

Mansfield Town
Went from League 2 to Championship in 5 seasons stayed there for 2 season the dropped back down to League 1 for 3 Seasons now bounce between Championship and League 1

Wigan
Spent 2 seasons in Championship came up to Premiership stayed for 7 seasons Relegated followed by instant promotion back and now challenge top 6
