This is my first attempt at The Unemployment Challenge and am hoping for a successful save and would like to achieve the same enjoyment others have gotten from this. My aim is to reach the Hall of Fame on my save and to become the most successful manager ever.

I have downloaded the most recent Transfer Update, from 24/08/14, in order to make it as realistic as possible from the start.

I would be hoping to get a job at a Skrill Premier team, as I will have the Sunday League Footballer Reputation, and will hopefully get myself to a top league within 10 years. I will have reached the highest goal I could achieve, by managing by beloved Arsenal. Another goal of mine is to manage Morecambe in League Two. I have only recently started following Morecambe and have fallen in love with the way they play and their style of football.

To become a successful manager, I will have to not be picky and take any job I can to climb the ladder. This may sound selfish, as I will not be showing any commitment to a single club, but my aim is to not get one club to glory, but to get myself up to a club with success already and increase their reputation.

My next post will hopefully be the announcement of my first job in this post, or maybe a choice of teams, that I have received offers from. I would like this save to be a roaring success and start a number of fantastic adventures on this game.

Please comment your opinions on this, and whether this is a good idea or not and maybe some tips that I could use for this save...
Good luck :) Never read one before but I'm sure it's good.
basham97 - Cheers! I'm looking forward to seeing how good I really am at FM 14 when I am put under pressure.
Burton-Durham Starts Management Career!

Due to the reputation of my manager, finding a job has been very hard! Teams have had many a laugh from my applications, teams such as Inter & AC Milan have 'laughed off' my demands for the job.

As an English Manager, I have wanted to stay in England as much as I could, this has limited me to the amount of jobs available, as I do not really want to be managing in the 3rd tier of Portugal.

I stated that a Skrill Premier club will be the hope, but this has not occurred, teams such as Hereford and Gateshead have been available, but a offer has failed to take place.

But Finally!!!

After nearly 5 months of searching, 3 job offers, I have finally decided to take the latest job application.

THE TEAM I WILL BE MANAGING IS: BATH CITY!

I join the club on December 26th, luckily with the transfer window just days away from re-opening. Bath are currently lying in 16th place, just above the relegation places, with my expectations of winning promotion. As this is very unlikely, I do not see myself here for more than 2 seasons.

Let's hope for a successful reign, and the start of my managing adventure![/img]
