Genie Scout for mac

I recently got a new apple mac laptop and i have tried downloading genie scout. I have read that it needs to be run with winebottler i have tried this 100s of times but when i load the game up inside genie i get the same error msg.

Football manager could not be found
please, make sure you are using football manager 2014 14.0.1 and higher
if your sure and problems persists, try to run FM genie with admin rights

is there something im doing wrong any help on this would be helpful.
