Will be Charlton Athletic promoted to BPL in the first season ? (14 votes)
Hi, I'am Jakub (20 years old), and I begin my first story on fmscout.com with Charlton Athletic, actually in Championship.

Charlton, like all the Champioship and lowers English leagues are no-name for me, but I see a potential in this team. So my goal is to manage this middle club to glory in English and European football.

My experience in Football Manager ? I've to return in the Championship Manager 5 for the beginning. Since this time, I've played all the versions of the game, and I've enjoyed it, learned more and more with the time, reaching today, a good level of tactics and match engine knowledge.

Here I just want to start my new career with Charlton Athletic ! Let's go.

PS. Sorry for my English, I'm Polish, but you can contact me also in French.

Jakub Maksimiuk as the new Charlton Athletic manager !

2nd of july 2013, the Charlton owner, Richard Murray gives the manager role to a young Polish manager with no experience in the professionnal football.

Maksimiuk choose Bob Peeters, as his assistant. Karel Fraeye contract's was released.

Next days, some changes are possible in the Charlton's staff.

Maksimiuk have signed some pre-season games for his team. Here we have more details.

Charlton vs Potters Bar
Charlton vs Bedfont Town
Charlton vs Lingfield
Charlton vs Aalborg
Bromley vs Charlton
Charlton vs Calais RUFC
Haverfordwest vs Charlton
Carmarthen vs Charlton
Charlton vs Hayes Gate
Welling vs Charlton
Good luck from a fellow Pole!
Good luck with your first ever story and welcome to the site! :)

Maksimiuk meets players. Here we've the entire team.

Some transfers will be made during next weeks. We have a transfer budget of € 864k and sales budget of € 207k per week (used €181k).

After a good analysis of the team, Maksimiuk, says "There's a little much defensive players in the team, but we wouldn't sell them. Tal and Leon are 31 and 33 years old, and they've a good experience to share with youngers. We need 2 or 3 wingers and one attacking midfielder. This is our goal in the transfer window."
