In a shock turn of events today Alan Pardew has been escorted out of St James Park.
BBC Sport were at St James Park to ask the fans view of Hatem Ben-Arfa's deadline day move to Hull as Pardew was escorted out of the stadium swearing and bawling at the security guards. It is understood that he attempted to attack Steven Taylor after a difference of opinions. Mike Ashley and Newcastle United have released a statement as follows:

"The club has regrettably had to terminate Pardew's contract early due to gross missconduct and will be looking to appoint a replacement within the week."

The likely candidates for the vacant position at the North East club are: Kevin Keegan 2/1, Clarence Seedorf 4/1 and Faustino Asprilla 8/1.

We are proud to announce the appointment of former manager Kevin Keegan to the managerial position at Newcastle United. Kevin Brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience to the role having previously taking on the role twice.

"I'm happy to be back. It's the only place I feel at home amongst football. I'm looking to bring Newcastle back into the top 4 and get the good times going once again. Alan brought his up's and down's to this club but the less said about him the better."
Yes! Love Big Kev! Good luck mate!
