Something wrong with the game... or with me?

Hello everybody! I know, it's already the end of the game cycle so probably my opinion will be fresh as a non-frequent FM14 player having decent experience of other versions of the game starting from FM11...
I started with Lazio and now my first season coming to its end. The picture is very sad and strange.
After taking in charge, and implementing my common tactics which is 4-1-2-2-1 with cutting inside forwards (Candreva, Kakuta), false nine (Klose) and a solid midfield triangle (Ledesma, Biglia, Onazi including new signed old mentalist Diarra and Brazilian universal Cicero) I managed to hold top of Seria A for first 10 legs.
But close to the end of November smth strange started to happen. It started when I quit loan deal with Postiga who was the one to stay at the shadow of Klose and sent him back to Benfica and brought 19 year old 5 star Balde Keita in his place. This actually worked and Keita was presenting his 17 point flair time to time scoring some beauty...
But what happened next to the team is total collapse. I started drawing games, and losing after all. Klose doesn't score, Candreva passive like a kid stepping off the best player of the league... I create moments, ccc but don't score. I dominate, but draw against any reputation teams... And of course I get 4:0 from devostating Juve...
I will bring more details later, but now it seems like I just can not get out of bad sequense of results... Morale dropped... I'm 9th and 18th Chievo equalizes after 2:0 at 76 and 85 minutes... It just seems to me that in real life a high quality squad just CAN NOT perform a sequence of 10 DLDDLDLLDL games against similar or lower reputation oppositions... It just CAN NOT happen that guys from the bottom teach Klose, Candreva, Ledesma and Cana how to play football...

If you're using just the one tactical set-up, that could be your undoing. You need to switch between tactics (or just different formations of the same playing style) to keep your opponents guessing as to what you're doing. Otherwise you become predictable and they will set up to beat your tactic.

Last game... Lazio(10th LLDLD) - Torino(20th LLLLX)... all my players have OKAY morale and 99-100% condition, all fit to play, everybody playing their NATURAL positions, no abbusive team instruction, no individual instructions, just balanced fluidity and control mentality... Screwing up 0:1 by own goal... Uninstalled the game... Everybody thanks for help...

May be it's not a bug... but I see no sence playing FOOTBALL manager, where you can screw up half of season being on a bad run just because one unlucky press-conference or team talk... it's not a psychology manager, just let the better team win... that's all I want from the game...

That's the reality of football. One seemingly minor mistake can lead to terrible consequences. The implementation of press conferences are not as advanced as real life, of course, but real football relies heavily on mentality which can be affected big-time by mind games and stuff. I think it's a good addition to the game.

True mate... But at least the engine should give a chance to recover after this mistake. Like I did (said) something wrong, but I still have positive approach to my players, want them to do what they like to do, keeping them physicaly fresh and not overtrained... So after a couple of succesful games we are again alive and can compete. But the engine just standing on its own and still I'm losing to the team, which is actually even in a worse condition than mine... And I even can not figure out what is wrong on the match flow, seems like players just not commited to the game and want their coach to resign... It happens in real football besides

this is quite possibly the worst thing I have ever read, its normal to have a poor sequence of results, teams go through rough patches and its your job to fix it. but if youre gonna just because u cant win every game I suggest you play something like fifa

You can not now win every game in fifa with those kids becoming online monsters spending their lifetime with the game
As for FM I was pissed off by losing to the last team on the table with the same set of bad results and even lower quality squad... It's just strange that bleeding LLLLX Torino holding last position in the league suddenly resurrects from ashes and beats Lazio in Rome... This Lazio must be total crap then... No, smth definitely wrong there

Going on a bad run of form happens to everybody. Have you not seen what has happened to Liverpool and Manchester United over the last 5 years? You can blame the game for a bad run but you would be making a mistake. Bad runs happen in football and sometimes there is nothing you can do about it except wait for a piece of luck to get out of a bad spell. It happens, you just have to deal with it.
