A very sad lost for football, he was a great man, and great manager, RIP SIR BOBBY
He will always remain in our memories as the kind and brilliant manager who graced the game with his presence.

The word legend is overused, but for a man like this doesn't go far enough. As an ITFC fan he did more for our club than any other person, by some margin as well.
Yet he had the time to speak with the fans, and was a true gentleman.
And brilliantly, when Bryan Robson was getting in the lift in Italy once, he said "Hello Bobby", to which Bryan retorted "No, you're Bobby, I'm Bryan" He could be funny without realising it.
You will be sorely missed.

As you all know or can tell im an ipswich fan. Saddens us more than any other. His best spell as a manager and our best spell as a club was under the great man. A big loss to our club and fans you will never be forgotten to ipswich town fans. Thankyou for your service and the glory times there were at Ipswich one day I hope town will get back to there, but none will be as great as yours.
