Adam McCarthy has become the Manager of premier division club Liverpool. The shock news comes as Brendan Rodgers was sacked from the club after the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona. Liverpool fan David Evans had this to say about the appointment of McCarthy:
David Evans:
I am happy about the appointment of McCarthy, he supported Liverpool as a lad and that has to make a difference, he also has just retired from the game so he knows modern playing styles well. I look forward to great memories watching his brilliant performances as head coach

McCarthy has been linked with players such as Oliver Giroud, Danny Alves and an unlikely move for striker Goran Panev, who has recently joined Galatasary from Napoli.
