Does anyone know exactly how to satisfy player promises and how to stop them sulking afterwards?
I took over as Man Utd manager at the start of the game, won the league and FA Cup first season and ended up winning the league second season too. However in January it was announced Andreas Pereira was leaving the club on a free and Rooney threw a bit of a tantrum, saying he shouldn't have been allowed to leave. I talked him round at the time saying I was planning to strengthen in the summer. Did some rearranging and managed to sign Jack Wilshere and Sven Bender, thinking that would be more than enough. However he then accused me of breaking my promise and now is constantly listed as being unhappy with the sale of Pereira and now refuses to even talk to me. Has anyone discovered a way of turning this round?
