How is it that every game goes by with only about 40% shot accuracy?
My training category of shooting is at 4.5* and I have all of my attacking players training heavily on their finishing. Is there anything else that affects finishing that I'm missing? Can anyone help?
On average in professional football, only 34.6% of all shots are on target (yes, I did research this). So this isn't all too peculiar, to be honest.
yes shotting is hard. go outside and try it i doubt u could hit the target uder pressure more than 40 % of the time
I'm not getting paid 100k a week to do it. Give me that, then we'll talk. I asked for help, how is that reply helpful Ipswich?
doesnt matter what u get paid. cause the defenders are getting the same eg they are better than average joe who would be pressuring u. try it youll see how hard
Real life aside, try tweaking your tactics to assure more clear cut chances. Don't try long range or difficult shots, make sure your strikers have enough time to hit the ball on target. But as said before, 40% is really not that bad.
40 % is good man for a reference maybe look at ronaldo stats
maybe try "work the ball in the box" see if that helps players might not shot as much unless they work it more of a clear cut chance
