dont know about the formation.
but jadedness is when a player gets tired physically but not mentally. so in matches when he is giving 100% his body isnt at 100%.
so if jadedness is higher than 50% or something, i would suggest a bit of rest from training.
but resting your players who have played matches, give them 1-2 days rest after every game. thats what i do and jadedness usually is never a problem for me.
oh and there is no "guide" that i know of that explains every single little detail.
