Welcome

Hello and welcome to my latest and hopefully greatest story, my track record with stories isn't that great on this site with my first one not being so popular with the general public and my second one going so badly that I eventually got sacked. Anyway, thank you to those of you who have kept on reading and are back for round 3!

The Tean

Ive decided to venture into the Italian Serie A for my second time ever with Napoli! (as you may have already gathered}. I was tossing up between the depth of Roma or the very thin but talented squad of Napoli. I'm hoping i made the right description and i am really enjoying the save so far. My goals in this save is to knock Juventus "Off their fucking perch" To quote Sir Alex Ferguson.

Pre-season went very well! We lost to probably the toughest opposition we faced however i'm not too worried as I'm convinced it was just a one bad game. We are doing really well to get off 20-30 shots in a match and it shows we are creating chances. The first game in the Champions League playoff was quite a worry however i knew we would be able to overturn it and we did. Marek Hamšik was really good picking up 5 assists and 1 goal in pre-season.
This is a great start, good luck!
love your style mate, good luck! Sneijder for my Napoli save was a beast, see if you can sign him for cheap ;)
Another story? Or have I got you mixed up with someone else? Either way, good luck with the story; you've made a great start with a great layout for your posts.
@Tahir: Thanks Mate
@Icarus: Good idea, i've spent my whole budget though :/
@jamesg237: yep, another one. i got fired so i didn't have much choice!

Decent start to the season, the loss to cagliari came as a real shock as I felt we really dominated that match however poor finishing and bad defending let us down. I'm finding some cracks in our defence as we're conceding far too many goals, however, the creation of chances has been superb. We have been fashioning 4-5 chances each game which is a really positive thing. We didn't really have a clear Player Of the Month as there were about three people who'd been about as good as each other. Out of all of them Insigne was probably the best just because of the chances he created and the impact he made as a sub

R.I.P Phillip Hughes

About 3-4 prior to me writing this Australian cricket player Phillip Hughes died after being hit just below the head in a cricket match earlier this week. Phillip was a fantastic young player who at the age of 25 was destined for great things. The news has come as a great shock to the cricketing community. I hope that all all of you that are reading this make sure you spare a thought for him, his family and the bowler who bowled the ball (who did nothing wrong) Sean Abbot.
RIP Phillip Hughes
Cagliari really came to play! Other than that great results. Nice little tribute to Phil Hughes, too, RIP

Strange month this one, of course it was a really difficult couple of games but despite this we actually played quite well (In the league, Champions league was terrible). It was just silly defending errors that cost us the matches against Roma and Sampdoria and beating Juventus 4-0 was probably the highlight of FM15 for me so far. Back to the UCL, we got drawn into an incredibly tough league so I never really expected to do to well. We lost by a lot more than i wanted to but we're not really at the stage to be challenging those teams. Jose Callejon has been really good this month and well deserved player of the month.

We opened the month with a 5-1 win and we finished the month with a 5-1 win, everything in between that was kind of pedestrian. I'm not too upset about the loss to Barcelona because i don't think a win was ever on the cards however the Udinese loss came as a massive surprise. We played really bad and didn't deserve points at all but we really should have played better. Some more good news that came out of this month is that we have been given an extra 25 million pounds to spend in the January, the defence needs a massive boost so we will start having a look at some targets next month. For the player of the month Jose Callejon has gone and made it two wins in as many months, he has been exceptional picking up three MoM awards in 5 games.
Callejon is on fire!

Only four games last month, however half of them were extremely tough matches coming up against the likes of Manchester City and Juventus, i felt that we dealt with it really well in the first three matches managing to draw 2-2 with City, however, we were already knocked out so it didn't really mean much. We experienced quite a swing in results against Juve as last time out against them we won 4-0 however this time they won 4-1. I'm not too worried about those matches though as they were irrelevant to our goal of winning the Serie A. It was really tough to choose the Player Of The Month as Higuain and Insigne basically had the same average rating, I ended up giving it to Insigne though because he was more consistent over the month. We're now moving into the January transfer window with our 25 million pounds to spend, leave suggestions below on who to sign ;).

An exceptional month for the boys to bounce back from their 4-1 loss to Juventus. I tweaked the tactics a little to allow my wingers to get further forward and it worked wonders as we scored 5 goals in three of the games. The only exception for this run of form was the 3-2 win at he San Siro. W e were very lucky to get the victory and will need to step it up for our Italian Cup quarter final against Juventus next month. Player Of The Month has yet again gone to Jose Callejon for the 3rd time in 4 months, he put in a couple of superb efforts managing to score 4 times
Scoring goals for fun at the moment!
