FIFA is investigating the signing of Jeremy Helan. I found it quite interesting since Chelsea just got sanctioned not too long ago, and now here comes another complaint out of the woodwork. And as I was grabbing the above link, I saw another link to a story about a Man United signing as well!

From a more casual observer's point of view, this seems more like sour grapes than anything else to me.
most of it seems bollocks.

i think there should be this limit:

you cant sign no player at all that is under18 from abroad. how about fucking that.

i think now that the transfers have gone a bit too far. FIFA needs to limit them, to every country it is, a global rule which will ease up the transfers and such.
Yeah after reading the articles, it seems that age limits on transfers is a logical first step. Although, is it hard to see why these kids want to go? You have a chance to train at great facilities and to gain exposure to some pretty top notch teams in the Premier League. If I'm 16 and want to further my football career, you better believe I'd want to transfer to Chelsea/City/United.
roma did complain about fergie snatching davide petrucci without roma's consent.

mate if your playing at a youth level at big clubs in your own country, especially when it comes to france and italy your already talking about great training facilities and coaches.

its not just the "big known" teams that have the best facilities etc.

here in europe football is huge, you dont need to leave to united to further your career especially as a youth.

and you dont often want to leave your country and your friends and such.

ok if im in a shite team and a good team come for me i would go.

you actually might halt your career at a big team even, because your talking about great competition etc. the only thing you do is make a bit of a "name for yourself". doesnt make you a better player on the pitch.

lots of shit players get out of big clubs, but end up at decent levels just because of their "name".

Forgive my ignorance on the subject. :blush

I'm used to the American way of things - big money and big markets that tend to dominate the face of most sports. Best example would be the Yankees buying up whatever talent they want on an annual basis.
well the disapointing thing about most of these players is that, when thet do come to big teams, they dont get played, therefore they dont develope as much as they would at there ariginal club, they never get first team opportunities and just get loaned out then sold on for tuppance

so actually for some of these young players, moving to a big club is actually detrimental to there career

imo banning player sale of under-18, would be a very good plan, and may make clubs buy and develope from there own nation for youth.
but i do not like platini at all, he is abusing his power, whining about everything and anything.

FIFA and UEFA have been corrupt for a while now.

now its just pathetic on how bad it is.

platini goes on about the amount of money in football.

while in CL he has made sure that more of the big clubs make it. 3 from the top leagues go straight through in the CL.

are they having a fucking laugh? what happened to CHAMPIONS league?. fucking piece of shit.

i mean they took some action for the dive of eduardo, and i hope to god they keep on doing these things. and make sure people dont cheat anymore. i mean it wont stop completely because there will be cunts like gerrard who will always dive. but if the refs get more strict and stop giving away silly freekicks when players go down easily. and make sure that in this sport people need to be strong.

the refs are fucking up this sport as well by blowing the fucking shite of their whistle everyfuckingtime.

luckily on the pitch football hasnt changed too fucking much. but still football has been dead for a decade now. its not the same anymore. i just hope it doesnt get more and more fucked up.
