Why I chose The Arsenal
I have decided to do my first FM15 story on Arsenal.
There were quite a few teams in the running. Manchester City - with the explosive forward Sergio Agüero. Manchester United - with practically an entire new team, they got rid of deadwood and brought in Champions League calibre players - not least one Angel Di Maria. Even Southampton - with a horrific transfer window in which they sold Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana, Calum Chambers, Guly do Prado (the forgotten man as it were), Rickie Lambert and Dejan Lovren, I felt I could turn the club around and into Europe with another new team.

However, I chose Arsenal mainly due to the fact I support them and know the squad top to bottom, but also due to the signings made in the window. Alexis Sanchez, Calum Chambers, World Cup star David Ospina, Mathieu Debuchy and the shocking deadline day signing Danny Welbeck came in. First team players Sagna (Free), Bendtner (Free), Park (Free), Fabianski (Free), Vermaelen (£14,000,000) left in another immense clearout - but there's no doubt that this squad is better than last season's.

Unfortunately, I won't be making any signings in the first window. I want to keep it as real as possible, so no DMC or CD will be coming in at first. Although I will still be doing write-ups of real-life signings. e.g, you might see a headline like Arsenal step up Debuchy chase or Arsenal tie up Ospina
