Hey guys,

I'd like us to start working on a series of collaborative guides for FM15.

On this topic, I'm requesting contributors for a guide on how to avoid injuries.

So are the best ways to keep your players fit and keep injuries under control?

We should talk about:
  • the intensity of training schedules,
  • how to handle days of rest,
  • choosing your best XI with condition and match fitness in mind,
  • making subs during a match looking to protect your best players in the final minutes if possible
  • protecting your injury prone players
  • selling your injury prone players
  • important attributes that may affect the chances of getting injured
  • how to utilize staff as injury precaution and faster recovery
  • the impact of upgrading training and youth facilities

If you have another idea of what we should talk about in this guide, feel free to share your opinion.

We must finish this guide by next Friday (19 December), so you will have to deliver your part in time should you wish to contribute. Post a reply to declare interest in joining this collaborative effort and explain exactly which part of the guide you could write about.

Let's do it!

Willing to help just assign me a topic and I will get it done :D

Edit: I will take the first one about intensity of training schedules
I'm happy that i can help
I will write about handling rest days
I could do the one about making subs during a match looking to protect your best players in the final minutes if possible. :)
Should mention the sufficient cover for a player injured I always have two.
I am willing to take the "selling your injury prone players" part and will do my best writing it, also I recommend having a talk about how age affects a player's injury proneness, and I support Levz's point.
I'm willing to do protecting injury prone players.

Thanks for your willingness to help with this guide, it is much appreciated!
Please prepare your parts and send them to me via PM.

@wellsy1498: You're assigned to the intensity of training schedules
@MisterLister: You're assigned to handling rest days
@AlexTHFC: You're assigned to making subs during a match
@Levz: You're assigned to planning squad's depth
@Mohamed: You're assigned to selling injury prone players
@Josh_MU: You're assigned to protecting injury prone players

Only 2 parts (choosing your best XI and important attributes) are open at the moment. Your delivered parts will be proof read by myself and some other staff members to ensure high quality for the final draft. And we might add extra information if needed. Your names will be credited of course.

I'm always happy to coordinate such collaborative guides and I'll surely have more for you to work on soon. So don't be sad if you couldn't contribute to this one :)
Thanks again!
best XI claimed
I'll do important attributes
I will do how to utilize staff as injury precaution and faster recovery
I'm very pleased to say that all contributors have already delivered their parts, except Tallery whose part I'm expecting later today. Now the remaining task is on me to put together all parts, blend them in logical order and add/enhance whatever feels blank or too brief. The plan is to finish/publish the guide by tonight (Thursday).

It has been a very productive week content wise, and for that I'm grateful :)

Written and submitted Stam :)
The guide has been published and featured by Sports Interactive on their official social profiles. A guide that will be a permanent reference on the subject for years to come, which is really important.

Thanks to everyone who contributed!
