Manchester City fans across the globe have been shocked by the new statement made by Manchester City owner Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He made a statement at a press conference saying "In recent events, I am suffering from extremely serious money problems due to issues regarding tax payments. I understand these issues were mistakes made by me and I understand that, I apologise to all City fans"

Due to this, the FA have charged Zayed Al Nahyan a huge fined believed to be worth just over six figures. However, have also told the City owner that due to his money problems, he will face charges not only from the FA but also from the Government.

It is now said that the City owner will now be going to court in the next couple of months to face charges of tax evasion. He is facing the possibility of a sentence of over ten years behind bars.

City fans have been outraged by these recent events claiming that the owner has been "A completely selfish excuse for a man and an absolutely disheartening person to all City fans!". People say this may be harsh but City fans are shocked by his allocations saying "We already have enough money!"

Following this, credit experts predict that the club could fall into administration within the next few days leaving many Manchester City fans devastated. Some are now worried that there is a possibility of the club becoming extinct due to the owner's recent actions.

To to the possibility of administration, rumours say that many players may want to leave the club but in some ways, the club might be forced to sell them to make money. City has already said they will need to perform drastic acts in order to keep finances at a stable level. Pellegrini is now frustrated with this and says that he may be forced to resign.

We'll sure know what will happen to the football club within the next few days! With the possibility of administration, and having no owner, all City fans around the world are gnawing at their nails with tension.

Author's Notes

Yes. That's right. I have brought back 'City Life' which is a story which I did back on Football Manager 2013 and did gain quite a lot of publicity on this site. Numerous people have approached me and said that I should do it again. And now after popular demand, it is back!

I am determined to make this story what it was back in 2012/13 and make a fun and entertaining story for you to enjoy.

As for my England story with Mike Bassett, that will be continuing but will not have as detailed updates as on this story. I hope you enjoy the story, as we now get underway.

News emerged from a court in Manchester than Manchester City owner Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan was founded guilty on three cases of Tax Evasion.

This does of course mean that dyer consequences have turned out for Manchester City Football Club and have now entered administration as a result. Reports show that there is a revolt from some players and staff claiming that they wish to depart the club as they are unwilling to be a part of an unstable club.

Concerns have even been raised by the club's manager Manuel Pelligrini; he claims that the club is becoming unprofessional and that he is not happy about how the club is being run.
"I am appalled by the lack of professionalism by the owner" Pelligrini spoke out, "the club is turning into an absolute shamble and it does raise concerns to me. Those even that resigning could be a possible resolution. I am not happy with the environment I'm working in and I will make my decision in the space of the next few days"

Reports from the FA say that the Manchester based club face the possibility of being demoted down divisions and removed from both the Premier League and the Champions League as a result. This has stirred unsettlement across the majority of the players.

A player who wishes to stay anonymous has said: "Hearing that we won't be in the Premier League never mind the Champion's League fills me with frustrated and has made me want to consider my options and moving clubs does appear to be the main option on my cards"

The FA have also said, back up by lawyers and agents that because of the issues, any player that wishes to leave shall be departing on a free transfer, whether it be from their contract or to an opposing team. Whether any money is received will be determined by the FA.

What happens at Manchester City is yet to be known, but with key players and their Head Coach wanting out; and even possibly being demoted from the division. Things can only get worse.

Great start so far and it looks very well written. Excellent storyline as well, will be following! Just want to throw in a real life quote from Sergio Aguero...

“Not only will I stay the four years to make it eight here in total,” he says, “I’ll stay beyond that. Until we win [the Champions League].”

Will you be keeping Aguero even if you drop out of the Premier League?

Manchester City face possibility of Non-League football

http://i57.tinypic.com/2hhemx0.jpg

From bad to worse, more dilemma are materialising at The Ethiad as the club have been told that after meetings between the FA and The Football League that Manchester City could be playing their 2014/15 season in the Vanarama Conference.

This would result in the teams that finished at the top of the relegation zone last year being reinstated in their old division to allow Manchester City to drop divisions. Although the idea has not yet been agreed, they could still drop down to League One, never mind the Conference.

A spokesperson from the FA stated: "After reviewing Manchester City's current situation, we have decided that the club will be demoted from the Premier League. How far down they go is yet to be fully discussed but the lowest they will go is the Conference (Vanarama Conference)"

"We send our sincere apologies to their fans" he continued. "but with what their owner has partaken in over the past few weeks are acts that would easily have been resolved and therefore these punishments have been enforced"

Manchester City fans have spoken about their disappointment claiming that the FA had no valid reason to demote them divisions, and claim they would have preferred to have continued in the top flight and to just have ten points deducted off their total at the start of their campaign.

FA have denied any wrong doing and have been backed up by numerous representatives from the FIFA corporation. What happens to Manchester City football club is yet to be confirmed, but how will they cope being outside of the Premier League.

Pellegrini resigns following relegation to Vanarama Conference

http://i60.tinypic.com/16jht2s.jpg

The news was today confirmed that Manchester City will be starting their 2014/15 campaign in the Vanarama Conference (5th tier of English Football)

As a result, Norwich City will be moved back into the Premier League, Doncaster Rovers will return to the Sky Bet Championship, Tranmere Rovers would return to League One and Torquay United will be back in League Two.

This has had its effect as the Mancehster club's Argentinian manager Manuel Pellegrini has stepped down from his role as manager. Pellegrini won the Premier League trophy with the club last season but as a result of their demoted from the Football League; he no longer wishes to carry the reins.

When interviewed, Chief Executive of the PFA Gordon Taylor OBE said "It is a tricky time and situation for Manchester City football club but sadly there is nothing we can do to help the club in anyway. We are already having numerous meetings with their board of directors to come to conclusions like managers, money, how we will handle being in a new league and also, point deductions as well. To be honest, their club is an absolute train wreck!"

Manchester City FC have released a short statement to gather the fans by saying "This is a time when all of the fans must help work with the club in this tricky situation. You will have to stay put with what is happening and if you're a true fan, you will continue to not only follow us but also believe in us!"

What happens next in this long saga is next to be seen but things are getting worse for the club and how will fans and the footballing world react.

Former Blue David James named as Head Coach

David James (above) will return to Manchester City as Head Coach

As a result of the resignation of previous boss Manuel Pellegrini, Manchester City have hired former City and England goalkeeper David James as their Head Coach.

The appointment has been a surprise especially with huge names such as Tim Sherwood, being linked, along with well-known lower league coaches such as Mark Yates, Dougie Freedman and Paolo Di Canio who was well known for gaining promotion from League Two with Swindon Town and left the club with them in the playoffs of League One the following season.

The club have decided to steer away from experienced names and go for a relatively young coach in the form of David James. Manchester City fans claim that they are pleased that a well known former player has been brought into the club. And the man himself has recently spoken following his appointment.

"It's great to return to my former club" he claimed, "they have gone through a sticky spell and I would love to help them get out of it. It will be tough starting in the Conference with no players after their departures but I will appoint a number of staff who have worked at this kind of level before and they will be key"

As stated above, Manchester City have confirmed that all first team member have been released by the club and only the youngsters will be remaining at the club.

We have a few youngsters still here. A few will be brought through and will be near a starting place in the Conference but some who I feel aren't quite ready; those who are around sixteen and below will remain in the development squad"

Other concerns have arised about their stadium with the Ethiad Stadium telling the club that they WILL NOT be able to play their this upcoming season. Alternative ground include Morcambe, Oldham Athletic and Fleetwood Town. That will be revealed soon.
