This post pains me, but I am at a loss for what to do.

I try and I try to make it with Arsenal. For some reason, it just doesn't work out. What I've been doing is this:
I have reinforced my squad with Lars Bender, Eder Balanta, Howedes and Raheem Sterling. I am playing a 4-2-3-1 wide formation with direct passing and high pace, with control and free philosophy. I usually play Welbeck (or Giroud, when he isn't injured) up top; Sterling left wing and Sanchez right; Ramsey and Bender center midfield; Gibbs left back and Debuchy right; Koscielny and Howedes centre back; Woji between the posts. Wilshere, the Ox, Walcott, Arteta and Giroud have mostly been injured.

The problem is just that it doesn't work. Every match is this: I go out dominating, but after about 10-20 min I concede a nonsense goal. Defender misunderstanding or something. Then it's all uphill from there. I dominate most games, but I can't make proper use of the abundance of chances I get. Sterling and Sanchez are nowhere to be seen. There's nowhere Welbeck can't find an offisde position, and when he gets a chance, he misses horribly. Defenders appear clumsy and disorganized.

How can I make the players focus more the first part of the match so it's not always an uphill battle? Does anyone have some tactical advice or hints in general for playing Arsenal?

Any help is greatly appreciated...
So as if to make my own point, after writing the above:

Played against Hull. After 19:40, my goalkeeper (in peace and quiet) manages to clear the ball into my defenders back, which then bounces slowly past him and into the net. After managing to give back some motivation to the guys, which was like pulling teeth, we pull off a 2-1 win.

Played against AS Roma. After 21:15, my defender clears the ball into an opponent forward, making the ball bounce off him and quietely into the back of my net. No motivation was returned, and I lost 4-0.

Did I miss a new feature in FM15 where you can cast curses?? I mean I know it's probably me doing something wrong, but seriously???
In my opinion I have not seen many people have 'Large' success with Arsenal and the AI never seems to favour them.
It pains me to try and help arsenal in any way but i'm all about the community so here goes:
What preferences do sterling and sanchez have? Are they trying to cut inside all the time and falling out of the equation as your tactics seem to be all forward momentum? Try playing wellbeck a little bit deeper, he has the pace to still get beyond their back four but without being offside ALL the time (a problem i had with him for England to be honest, too eager by half!).

Setting the team instructions to 'pass into the box' or something like that causes your team to take more considered action and less errant runs, could also be worth exploring 'clear to the wings' since clearing the ball forwards really isn't working out for you ;)

Sadly, some teams are just cursed... i'm a Leeds fan so just think how i feel in real life!
