This post pains me, but I am at a loss for what to do.
I try and I try to make it with Arsenal. For some reason, it just doesn't work out. What I've been doing is this:
I have reinforced my squad with Lars Bender, Eder Balanta, Howedes and Raheem Sterling. I am playing a 4-2-3-1 wide formation with direct passing and high pace, with control and free philosophy. I usually play Welbeck (or Giroud, when he isn't injured) up top; Sterling left wing and Sanchez right; Ramsey and Bender center midfield; Gibbs left back and Debuchy right; Koscielny and Howedes centre back; Woji between the posts. Wilshere, the Ox, Walcott, Arteta and Giroud have mostly been injured.
The problem is just that it doesn't work. Every match is this: I go out dominating, but after about 10-20 min I concede a nonsense goal. Defender misunderstanding or something. Then it's all uphill from there. I dominate most games, but I can't make proper use of the abundance of chances I get. Sterling and Sanchez are nowhere to be seen. There's nowhere Welbeck can't find an offisde position, and when he gets a chance, he misses horribly. Defenders appear clumsy and disorganized.
How can I make the players focus more the first part of the match so it's not always an uphill battle? Does anyone have some tactical advice or hints in general for playing Arsenal?
Any help is greatly appreciated...
