Just wondering, does anyone have thoughts on a goals to shots ratio? If you create a 'ladder' of the stats like this:
Shots
Shots on Target
Clear Cut Chances
Goals
Going from top to bottom, I lose 50% each rung I go down. So, I have 20 shots. 10 on target. 4-5 CCC, and 2-3 goals. So roughly, 1 goal every 10 shots. And when it works well, I've had between 25 and 30 shots for Wrexham in the Vanarama Conference, and 35-40 for Real Madrid, resulting in 2-4 goals. None of these seem to be outside the final 1/3 of the pitch, most are inside the area, a few being a few yards outside the area. I have no idea if this is a good conversion rate, what do people think? thanks
