In a bizarre manner The Mad Ox has made his return to the world of football, after being banned for 10 years for his improper conduct. We have received news from Stade Abbe Deschamps that President Guy Cotret has appointed former Indian international footballer Gaurav Vaidya as the new manager of French Ligue 2 side AJ Auxerre.
Vaidya, who has made 25 appearances for his country scoring 6 goals was widely known as The Mad Ox during his playing days. A nickname that he earned due to his sheer physicality and antics on the pitch. Apart from his career for his nation, his most famous spell was for Manchester United, where he made 37 club appearances scoring 18 goals.
The most memorable moment of his football career came in a FA Cup Final against Liverpool, in which he scored the winning goal and also got banned for whipping out his penis in front of Liverpool fans.
