A Kop Out

Both Merseyside teams have made the news this week, but not for good reasons. In the biggest news off all, happening on the red side of Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers has been sacked from the club for the most bizarre reason. John Henry had released a statement that Rodgers contract had been terminated with immediate effect after the Kop Boss slept with the Liverpool owners Wife Linda Pizzuti. Rodgers was asked questions when leaving Melwood but failed to give an answer. Its unknown what was going through Rodgers head when sleeping with Linda but with a body like hers who wouldn't. It is understood that John Henry wont be divorcing his beloved Wife but we are told there relationship is on the rocks, it will be a long time until Rodgers dares to show up around Anfield or will he be a silver fox and go back for cheeky seconds on the sexy Italian. Just 36 hours after Rodgers has left Liverpool have now found a replacement for the outgoing manager by bringing in Aaron Hardy a former MK Dons & Derby County player. Hardy, who enjoyed a successful career scoring over 200 Goals in career has now taken the reigns and jumped straight in the deep end. What could Liverpool be thinking by bringing in a manager with no managerial background? only time will tell if Aaron can turn the Kop into European Giants once more.
Meanwhile on the Blue side of Mersey Everton boss Roberto Martinez was sacked after failing to hit his proposed targets of a fourth placed finish. It was made clear by Everton owner Bill Kenwright that the Spaniard was to qualify for champions league and no less. With Martinez leaving the club of course someone else has to replace him, and yet again we are surprised to see long life Derby County player Keiran Caville take the Toffee's reigns. Caville who was born in Liverpool came through the Derby County Youth at 16 years old and broke the first team at 18 spending 12 years at the club and making over 500 appearances and scoring 289 goals. Caville was said to be good friends with new Kop boss Aaron Hardy and when asked about there relationship he stated 'They Were Like Brothers From Other Mothers' Who knows what Caville can do at the Toffee's but could one of the biggest rivalries in the world turn to friends against each other... Who knows?
