No matter what I try (currently managing Arsenal) whenever my teams goes to play a big team, i.e Man Utd, away they play awfully. We normally concede 3 or 4 goals. Its not the players because whenever my team plays a big team at home they'll win very comfortably. Anyone got any ideas as to how to win away in the big games?
Thanks
I had noticed its a lot harder to get results away from home in general for me, even against the so called "lesser clubs". I usually find playing a counter attacking tactic with 'lower tempo' and 'retain possession' turned on in the team instructions works for me. That way, your team will only counter attack when they have a decent opportunity to do so. If there is no opportunity, they seem to just hold on to the ball and frustrate the opposition.
