He is to date the only football manager to have won the Champions League, the European Championship, and the World Cup, as well as the Intercontinental Cup.

Edgar Davids and Frank Rijkaard announced new Spain managers

The two who have had very different manager careers with Rijkaard being arguably the best Barcelona manager ever and achieved a semi final with Netherlands in Euro 2000. While Edgar Davids has only managed Barnet where it has gone quite bad but he is willing to turn it around. ´´I want to turn my manager career around leading Spain to glory with help of a big friend of mine Frank Rijkaard. We where often compared on the field even so we were the best of friends.

Frank Rijkaard comented on if they where the best choice even though not being spanish. Yes we are. We know spanish football and culture well both having played in Spain and me being one of spanish footballs best managers of all-time i know we will suceed

Frank Rijkaard and Edgar Davids both share the opinion that the Golden Generation players should not be playing more for Spain. Here are there comments on it ´´ Frank Rijkaard: Of course there will be some but most wont be playing more for Spain under us. Edgar Davids: Yes i agree Spain have so many great young players who already perform great at a high level. Just to say some there is Iker Muniain, Isco, Marc Bartra, Gerard Deulofeu, Alberto Moreno, and (Palde Diao) Keita.

One thing they havent sorted out is what tactic to use. They have said it will either be a 5-2-2-1 or a 4-3-3. Both want to bring a total footbal style to Spain.
