Welcome!

Queen's Park Football Club

"Ludere Causa Ludendi", the main motto of club which means "To play for sake of playing". This team is only team in Scottish Football League that is fully amateur and the first team in Scotland that has been founded (in 1867). The only team from Scotland that played finals of English FA Cup.

Their fierce rivals are Clyde and Albion Rovers. Other rivals are Patrick Thistle, Rangers, Celtic, Berwick, Stranraer.

I've decided to take over this club, because all of that information, and because of their stadium. Their stadium is Hampden Park in Glasgow and can take around 52000 spectators.

As I said, they are amateur club with insecure financial position, which will make this challenge heavier to do. All players are on amateur contract which means that we can lose them at any time if some teams want them. I'll do this story on two or three months report, with some news report, so this will not be classic monthly report.

This will be tough challenge but I hope that you will follow this story as my intentions are to run this story as far as I can.

Goals to achieve:

  • Win or promote from Scottish League 2

  • Win or promote from Scottish League 1

  • Win or promote from Scottish Championship

  • Get to Scottish Premiership

  • Win Scottish Premiership

  • Win Scottish Cup

  • Win Scottish League Cup

  • Turn Professional

  • Qualify for European Competitions

  • Fill stadium to full capacity

  • Win European Competition
  • Brilliant Start, Good Luck!
    Good luck Lister.

How in the world an amateur team have a 52k stadium?
    Roversfan1: Thanks mate...

Joseph Climber: Thanks, and they have this stadium as the ground where is built is in their ownership so that's why they have 52k stadium :)

Today, club has announced seven new signings as new manager MisteLister comes. All of these signings are on free and on amateur contract as club is in poor financial position and can not afford to get at least semi professional. Many will say that these are unknown players, but with their ability, Queen's Park can only get better than weaker.

First player who put a pen on contract was David Sinclair. He has formerly played for Livingston, Clyde, Ayr and others. He plays on midfield and possess good defensive skills and pretty strong 24 year old player. Next one was Jack Boyle, English player, who formerly played for Southampton and Airdrie. He has very skillful player for forth tire of Scottish football.

Next one was former player of Queen's Park, who played here for nearly seven years, 25 year old James Brough. He plays as typical defender, stopper. Ross Robertson was next, 23 year old striker who can also play as right midfielder and center midfielder. He mostly played for Ayr around 54 apps.

Josh Flood, Romauld Bouadji and Craig Reid came on the same day and have good potential to be very good for this team. Queen's Park didn't waste any money and got all of these players for free. They have today announced that they have signed a deal with Dundee Utd as senior affiliate.
