In a distant corner of the universe there is another planet Earth almost identical to ours, with one small exception. The greatest Football players that we know all played together. Since the games inception it's popularity did not rise and generally speaking it was not as popular as in our world, despite being played across the globe.

In this reality Pelé and Messí are only a few years different in age, Terry Butcher and Zinedine Zidane are peers and Ferenc Puskás and Harry Kewell share the same field.


Our story begins with the departure of Don Revie from Leeds United with the club now lying in the Championship and in desperate need of a return to the top flight of English football and to once again play in the European theatre. A young Alf Ramsay has been selected to take reigns at Elland Road, with limited experience in coaching it is a big risk on behalf of the board. Hours after the appointment was made official Roy Hodgson made a phone call that would change English football for ever and Ramsay was appointed England Under 19's manager later the same day.

A Note on the Story

This is my first time writing a story on here so I apologise in advance for the poor layout and lack of depth in some areas. Unfortunately at time of writing I am just starting my second season and have no screen shots of player stats for the first season, I will, for pure interest include player info but please bear in mind they have had a years worth of football and are obviously now a year older.

As far as the database it is on this website and is called The Legends Database, it features over 1000 changes and recreates some of the best players in history and I felt I had to share as I was having a lot of fun. I have used an editor to increase my transfer budget to allow me to buy my favourite players. I ask you to read this as a bit of fun rather than a serious play through, as such I will not be delving into tactics too much and will instead try to emphasize on the story.

It is June of 2014 and Alf Ramsay sat behind his new desk along side his new Assistant Manager Shaun Brooks. Shaun had limited experience of management at higher levels but Alf admired his work ethic and had actually given him his first job as a coach at Dorchester Town.
