Alright guys, some of you may know me from around fm scout since around 2012 and others maybe from Mr JK’s stream (TheRealMrFev). Over the past few years I’ve attempted a few different saves, one of the best in my eyes was a Vanuatu (if anyone remembers high five) and earlier this season I did a Portugal save. But none of these saves have gone on to last months and made me feel happy that the save should be finished.

So for this new story I will be attempting to take Sheffield United back to the premier league (might sign Tevez Kappa) and hopefully onto European glory. I was struggling to choose a save, so I asked the legend that is Mr JK and Jamie chose Sheffield United for me so here goes! Wish me luck!

I have many personal goals which i will put here when i get round to it plus if anyone could make me a banner and pm me it, it would be appreciated so much!

Blades hire Stubbs

In the last few hours Sheffield United have parted company with Nigel Clough due to unknown circumstances at this current time. Within an hour of Clough parting company with The Blades. They have hired Adam Stubbs who has been coaching at Middlesbrough FC, for a little over 2 years. Upon getting the job Adam Stubbs said “It’s such a pleasure to take the job at Sheffield, I have dreamt of managing a Professional club ever since I was a little boy and this is just amazing! I only finished University 2 years ago and was grateful for Middlesbrough to give me a coaching role and give me the opportunity to take up my coaching badges.”

On taking the job Stubbs added to his squad bringing the experienced Jonathon Woodgate on a season long loan from Middlesbrough. While revealing his signing Stubbs said “Me and Aitor at Middlesbrough have a great friendship, I’ll be looking to do many deals with them in the future but not get carried away as we need to run our own club with our own players” He added “People will raise an eyebrow at the Woodgate signing but he has some of the best experience that I need in my squad. He’s the one player that every club needs”

Stubbs starts his managerial career in a preseason friendly away to Glentoran.

5 in 1 out

It hasn’t taken Stubbs long to start changing the club and his players. Within days Stubbs has brought journey man Kevin Davies, youngster Tom Eaves and the highly rated Kwesi Appiah in to bolster his squad. While youngster David Brooks has left the club on a loan spell with Barnet. During a press conference Stubbs said “During my short time at the club we have had a few injuries in the forwards so I’ve had to bring some players in. These aren’t panic buys and I have faith in these lads to put in the performances”

Also Stubbs has brought in Brian Stein to help out with the under 18s and Lee Southernwood to add to the coaching staff.

From a recent poll about the new Sheffield United manager only 23% of the Sheffield fans asked, actually knew who Stubbs was. But all the fans want Stubbs to do well and bring back the fight spirit and passion of the Premier League days
Good luck man - see if you can emulate some of their cup runs aswell ;)
Good look. I have wanted to manage Sheffield United for a while so it will be good to see how you do :D
