As you probably can read I will be playing as Louis van Gaal, the dutch manager of Manchester United. Because van Gaal is just arrived at Manchester and the fact that he's a world class manager was enough to tell me that I couldn't get passed van Gaal.


van Gaal suprised the whole football world by doing so well in the World Cup 2014 with the dutch nation. With a selection almost fully filled with U23 players he managed to get the bronze medal. van Gaal made them play as a solid top team, altough many of them never played any interland.

This year he will take over the role of Ryan Giggs who was the manager for the rest of the 13/14 season in which Man Utd ended on a ludicrous 7th place. Some sources tell us that Man Utd has given a very big transfer budget to spend this summer to make sure that they will once again arrive at least in the top 3.

News out of Manchester where Louis van Gaal announces his new singings for the upcoming 14/15 season. Here is an overview of the new signings with exclusive comments of our head coach

Louis: Matteo is a very talented right back who can also play as a left back or even as center back. I saw Matteo playing at the world cup for Italy where he played some good games. We payed around 8 million euros but the deal wasn't completed yet because there was a lot of interest for this young right-back from clubs like Napoli, Juventus and Arsenal, but he chose for MUFC, which was honestly the best choice. (laughs)


Louis: Then we have Vaclav Cerny, a very young but talented left winger who's called the next Robben. The 16-year old Czechian signed a contract for three years in which he wants to become a first team player. I think that we made a very good deal by only paying 1.3 million for him. A talent to keep an eye on..


Louis: I think Hulk is an amazing signing, I never thought that Zenit would be willing to talk about a transfer for their star-player. But they did and so we bought him for a fee around 30 million euros, that's 10 million less than what they payed to Porto. He signed a contract for 5 years and will be playing on the right wing for us, he can also play as a striker, but with Robin, Wayne and Falcao we already have 3 worldclass strikers.


Louis: Our first Dutch signing is Wesley. I know Wesley from the Dutch national team of course and I know what kind of a good player he is. He's a very creative midfielder with very good passing and vision. Wesley signed a 4-year deal with MUFC. You're now probably thinking that that is very long for a 30-year old player but he will play 2 or 3 years for Man Utd and after that he might become part of my staff. We didn't had to pay to much for him only 8 million my biggest worry was the concurention of PSG who offered him a major contract. But loyal as he is Wesley chose for us to work with his former coach. (smiles)

Player of the pre-season

Louis: There were some players who played very good for us in the friendly games. But I think Matteo Darmian played really good in his first games for Man Utd. He was a very solid defender and attacking he was very active by giving several good crosses to our strikers en even scored a goal himself

Welcome Aymeric Laporte !

Yet Another signing for Manchester United when Aymeric Laporte joins the red devils from Athletic Bilbao. MUFC managed to buy him for 42 million euros which was the release clause in his former contract and gave him a contract for five years. The French central defender played a total of 50 games for Los Leones until he joined us.

Aymeric Laporte: I'm very happy with this transfer to this top team, it's a beautiful club who won very much trophies in the past and I'm glad they bought me to help continue with it.

A reaction from our head coach, Louis van Gaal:

Louis: Well this boy is one of the most brightest talents on the planet. He is an amazing reliable central back although he is only 20 years old!! He will play in our 3-man defending with Jones and Rojo. I hope they will fit perfectly together and support each other. After all, I think he will be great for us for the following seasons. I'm looking forward to use him in my squad.

Wayne Rooney

Wayne is our leader on the pitch and an exemple of a professional footballer. Rooney is now playing his eleventh year in service for MUFC so that’s another reason why he deserves to be the captain of our team. Last year Moyed retrained him to a central midfielder so that one more position he can play, really handy to have a multifunctional attacker. No doubt he will be a very important player for us.

The Record Purchase

Angel is once again a very multifunctional player, he can play as winger on both sides, attacking midfielder, central midfielder and he can even play as a striker. The Argentinean playmaker came over from Real Madrid last summer where he showed his worth, but wasn't enough for Los Merengues who replaced him by James Rodriguez. Di Maria wil play most of the games as a central midfielder because that's a position where we lack quality.

MUFC player of the month

Hulk played awesome in my last games scored 2 goals out of 4 games in which he didn't played his natural position on the right wing, instead he played all games up front where he suprised me very positively. He made several good runs into space, fired a lot of shots on target like only Hulk can and he also wasn't to ego, like he's being called by reporters. To make things clears, he was really good for Man Utd.


Well we won all the games except the one against Liverpool. The first one agains Crystal Palace was really good, we created a lot of chances and we were clinical. Against West Brom we were pretty good too altough we weren't as clinical as in the first game. And Finaly the game against Liverpool on our homeground, well it was a tough game, first minutes they were totally on a higher level until the 15 minute, we may be happy they didn't finish their chances. But then they scored a Majestic free kick with Steven Gerrard and we were 0-1 down. I talked to my players, said what was going wrong and we started the second half and this time we scored a free kick with Juan Mata who al also played a very good month Augustus just like the whole team !

Well at least you done what Van Gaal couldnt do and that was beat MK Dons
