Pinto has high expectations due to the amazing work he did for the North American based country, Costa Rica, as he took them to the Quarter Finals at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, where they fell on penalties to Holland. The 61 year old has said, "I'm delighted to be here and this a time to show more of my skills. I never would of thought I'd be here in the Premier League and I'm going to embrace the moment forever in my life. I want to take the club as far as I can, but it will be a tough task for me and the club to better what we've done over the past years. However, I have been given a big budget, one not seen before at this club so I'm excited and can't wait to bring in some players to improve this squad here."
Pinto joins after former player and now manager, Gary Monk could 'no longer commit to the job' and needed to 'take the right path for the future.' Fans have said to be excited for the future and can't wait for the upcoming season.
