Welcome to my story. If I happen to have an audience, I thank you for reading, and I will provide swift updates for you to enjoy. Before I share my career so far, I'd like to outline the setup of this story.

My Club: Tottenham Hotspur
My Manager: Myself

Mauricio Pochettino has left his post at Tottenham Hotspur, and Daniel Shaw has swiftly taken over. Daniel Shaw is only 20 years old, and Tottenham is his first coaching job.

Budget: Nothing

There is no real transfer window to star with in this campaign. All buys have been made and I will have to work with what I have at my disposal. I will not be able to buy or sell players, but I can theoretically loan players in.

Board Expectations
Qualify for the Europa League
Make it to the Group Stage in the Europa League
Make it the the 6th Round of the FA Cup

Expectations are low from the board, and are just looking for some consistency. I am here to provide it and to exceed expectations.

Thanks for tuning in, more to follow soon.

Big Changes of Tottenham Staff

It hasn't even been two days into his new life at White Hart Lane, but new manager Daniel Shaw has already shaped his staff and getting rid of members he considered to be "deadweight" from the previous managerial tenures.

Tottenham "wished their best" to the outgoing staff, but that simply is a formality. Leaving Tottenham was the newly appoint U21 Head Coach Ugo Ehiogu, Mauricio Pochettino's Assistant Coach Jesus Perez, Fitness Coach Nathan Gardiner, and U18 Physio Andrew McKenzie. Those decisions made sense, but there were hefty fees to terminate Ehiogu's contract as well as Perez's. Ehiogu was said to be paid in the region of 625,000 pounds, where as Perez was paid 2.5 million pounds. Large termination fees that still did not deter Shaw from getting rid of staff he deemed "replacable".

Shaw made more additions to the staff than terminations. He started by adding Englishmen Steve Kember as the U18 assistant. Shaw then sought to replace the staff members he fired, and started by bringing in David Wales to be a U18 Physio. Along with that, Shaw was really excited about the hiring of Massimo Neri to be the fitness coach, with Neri having experience with the Russian national team and the Italian national team, and is said to be among the best fitness coaches in the world. To replace Ugo Ehiogu, Shaw snagged Aston Villa's U18 Head Coach Tony McAndrew, and placed him in Ugo Ehiogu's vacancy. He continued his hiring spree by adding Giuseppe Baresi, a former Inter assistant coach, to be his second-hand man. He completed his staff by adding former Mainz head coach Thomas Tuchel to join his coaching staff and by snagging Fulham's Chief Scout Malcolm Elias into joining his scouting team. Giorgio Gasparini was also added to the physio team. Shaw also almost signed Southampton's Chief Scout Bill Green, but Green pulled out of the deal and was given a raise by Southampton instead. Overall, Shaw was very pleased with the changes.

Shaw's Thoughts:
"Preseason I thought went well overall. We had a slow start, getting our feet wet and getting used to the new tactics, but we finished off strong with a good, dominating win over a solid Valencia squad. I was particularly pleased with the performances of our strikers during this camp, as well as the performances of Andros (Townsend). He was the best player throughout camp. I was thoroughly impressed."

Turmoil at the Lane

The Sun is reporting controversy at White Hart Lane this morning, after manager Daniel Shaw left out Etienne Capoue from his Europa League Playoff squad. Whether Shaw did this to play youth players or if he does not see a future for the French midfielder at the club has yet to be seen, but after reported talks with the manager this morning, Capoue is far from happy.

Shaw was unavailable for comment, however, it was revealed at the club this morning that Younes Kaboul is Tottenham's captain, with Hugo Lloris being named Vice-Captain.
