This is my second attempt at doing a manager's story so comments and pointers would be much appreciated.

RODGERS IN SHOCK RESIGNATION

Liverpool FC Today has released a statement regarding the shock departure of beloved Manager Brendan Rodgers. The Northern Irishman has decided to step-down from his role only weeks after Liverpool's 2nd placed finish in the Barclays Premier League last season.

The full reason for Brendan’s departure is unclear, although it has been rumoured that the divorce from his previous wife has played a part in this decision.

Rodger’s has been at Liverpool since becoming manager in 2012 and nearly guided this club to there first premier league title in over 20 years.

The search for a new manager will begin shortly with assistant manager Colin Pascoe taking charge of first team affairs in the meantime.

PRE-SEASON 2014

I don’t think that the pre-season could of gone any worse for us only 1 win (against the under 21’s) and 1 draw with the rest being loses. But its not the results that I was interested in I was just wanting the squad to gel and get used to the tactics and each other

Couldn’t have asked for anything more from the lads considering the pre-season we had. Was glad that my players picked up the monthly awards and also I got the managers award in my first month, Can’t believe that we are top of the league with only 3 games played, now the hard job is to stay there.
Great month. Keep it up
