Newly formed club to compete in the premier league!

Fans outraged as two clubs join to form FC United City of Manchester.
Manchester City have been allowed to compete in the vanarama conference north.
Both sets of players join new club.

The football association have confirmed that Manchester United and Manchester City have joined forces and made a new club, FC United City of Manchester, who will compete in the premier league. The club have also been allowed to sign every single player that is at the club, with those out on loan staying out on loan, and Falcao and Lampard will stay on loan with FC United.

Fans of the club have been split about this. Some fans have been open to the move and have already lined up to get kits and tickets. However some fans have been angered about this move, and have joined up with Manchester City who have been allowed to compete in the vanarama conference north.

Manuel Pelegrini and Louis Van Gaal have both been told that unfortunatly they will not be managing in charge of either club, with questions asked as to who will manage the clubs, which players will stay at the club, and how will these clubs move on from here?

Scholes appointed FC United manager!

In a shock that has shook the football world, FC United City of Manchester (the club that most people expect to win the title), have appointed unexperienced Paul Scholes as their new manager. Scholes was a Manchester United legend and was not the first name the clubs fans wanted, but has agreed to join the club as their new manager. Many other names like Jose Mourinho, Fabio Capello and Josep Guardiola were linked, as well as ex-united and city players like Robbie Fowler, David Beckham, Richard Dunne (who is still playing) and the Neville brothers Gary and Phil, but clearly Scholes had something the others didn't.

Scholes talked to the FCUCM TV channel (replacing the now defunct United channel) and said "When the chairman talked to me about the project, I instantly knew I wanted to be a part of this project. I thought I was only going to be a coach, but they called me and said they wanted me as manager. I'm very excited at this project and will be aiming to win the title."

His first job will to decide which players stay and which ones go, as with both players from Manchester United and Manchester City at the club, he will not be able to play all of them, especially as the premier league only allow 25 players in the main squad. Who will survive Schole's axe?
