come on you blues!

Breaking news as Everton part ways with Roberto and make room for there new manager Danny Haydock.

In an interview with chris kammy, Haydock stated " as a life long everton fan i know how fustrating it has been trying to get the final push in to the top 4, martinez was a good manager he just never had what it took and i wish him all the best for the future!

Thats all from us here at sky sports thank you and good night!

At the end of pre-season everton have come out of there 5 games with

3 Wins

Everton 3-0 Queen of the south
Eto'o x2 Naismith x1

Eveton 2-0 chivas USA
Eto'o x 1
garbutt x 1

Everton 3-0 Philapino
Eto'o x 3

2 Draws

Everton 1- 1 lokomotiv
Eto'o x 1 Fernandes x 1

Eveton 1-1 AZ
Eto'o x 1 Stones o.g x 1

At the end of pre-season I am happy with the results we have, the only thing we need to work around now is the injurys to Kone, Barkley, Baines and Ovidieo.

Everton have completed a £3million deal for Praga 25 year old inside forward Borek Dockal

Haydock stated he is very pleased to have secured the deal for Borek, he is only 25 years of ages and he brings alot to the team he is a great dribbler and not afraid to take players on hes also very good at cutting in and getting a shot off himself and if he cant do that he has a wondeful cross that could pick anyone out in the 18 yard box.

start of the season

Hull City 1-2 Everton
quinn 87th - Dockal 23rd Eto'o 65th

The season got off to a great start with a 2-1 win away to hull, Borek Dockal scored a brilliant header from a luke garbutt cross to put is in the lead. after that we had chance after chance to put us 2-0 up but mcgregor had an amazing game keeping shots from lukaku out, at half time Eto'o came on to replace lukaku and atsu came on for mirallas it wasnt long before a great run from atsu seen him beating defenders and playing the ball across to luke garbutt who puts in another brilliant cross to find Eto'o who makes it 2-0. With 3 minutes left of the game huddlestone hits a free kick forcing a great save from horward to wich stephan quinn gets to first and bings the game back to 2-1 but it was to little to late for the tigers!

player of the match [/center]

Luke Garbutt

Grabbing to assist on his debut and getting a rating of 9.5 with some solid defending and great counter attacking runs gives this young lad player of the match
The red devils

Everton 0 - 2 United

Mata x 1
smalling x 1

We had a great game against United with Lukaku hitting the bar in the first 5 minutes and then a disallowed goal from Dockal who has had a great start to his life at Everton unfortunately we just could keep up the tempo with Mata bursting through the defence firing past howard to make it 1-0 we then created two more chances with Eto'o and Barry both coming close before chris smalling made it 2-0 in the 85th minute
So far so good. Unlucky loss vs United.
