Hi guys,
Any idea how to change the folder path for graphics, editor data and all this other stuff?
Normally it would be under "SAVING", but it's not in FM16.
Any way to change it manually?
How to change the Sports Interactive folder location [Universal]
To change the location of your Sports Interactive folder which contains save games, graphics and other files you need to add a command line to the game launch options.
To do this follow the instructions below:
- First of all create the folder in the location you want it to be
- Go into Steam and right-click on the game.
- Select 'Properties'
- Click 'Set Launch Options...'
- Copy the following into the dialogue box: --user_data_location="path"
- In the "path" section, enter the exact path where you created your folder.
The next time you launch the game, your Sports Interactive files will be saved to this folder.
I just copied and pasted my old one into the new game, the entire folder has every graphic in and it took 3 hours, works a treat..
none of my graphics from FM2015 work...transferred them from the FM2015 graphics file to the FM2016 one yet...nothing...done the untick use cache, reloaded the game, reloaded the skin...nothing
I did the same Pikachu. Just my club badges work. Player photos don't and everything else too. Maybe just because of the beta right? Saw some little bugs in the interface so maybe is normal till november 13th.
No, not because of the beta... if you transfer the graphics over, the .config file will still be pointing to the wrong folder (fm15) ..
You don't need to move graphics over physically..
I posted above how to point the new game to the correct folder....
