Pre-season Recap

3 wins | 2 loses

Unfortunately due to early injuries, this may hold us back for the start of the season.
We work hard and also have the dedication. We are strong team and will be ready for the new season ahead.

Jerome Wright who has been our best player in pre-season and will be out for 5-6 weeks. Scott Cheetham will have to step in and show why he should have a head start of Jerome.

We might bring players in & let some go. We may also get players on loan, this may be the right thing to do for the team. This will help the team with getting promotion

This season has been varied, witnessing that we've put in the hard work. Just hasn't paid off as it's not been the best and certainly not the worst.

Injuries have played a huge factor at the start of this season. It's given us a slow start, we will be prepared once we recovered.

Tom Greaves has shown true dedication through thick and thin. Putting in the true team leadership and support, along side exceptional goal scoring ability.

We have team and capability to get tremendous amount of wins under our belt for september.
nice start

We have worked well together to pull it out of the bag. We've achieved 4 wins out of 5. This is what FC United is about, great team work.

Matty Wolfenden has been our star player. Showing that he has reached the assigned amount of goals with 3 out of 5 he is aiming higher this season.

As a team, we know during pre-season injuries had kept us behind. Now fully recovered, we're back on track with this seasons targets.

We are proud to have been apart of the FA Cup, this win is exactly what we needed to show we are on our game. This is the great start we needed as we are ready for reaching the 1st round.
A solid start to the season, hopefully promotion follows!

Our league performance has been woeful this month with only getting 3pts out of a possible 12. With losing out to late goals and very bad defending it's something we've got to work out to make sure it don't happen again.

Our journey in the FA Cup has been great so far with being at home for all our games in the cup so far. It has shown that the fans are the 12th man and have shown real spirit for us.

We hope to get back to winning ways and break into the top 5 of the league and make sure we can stay there for the rest of the season.

We've put the last few weeks in the league behind us and shown true team spirit and morale couldn't be higher around the club.

Our run in both FA Cup & FA Trophy has been amazing so far. Winning our 1st round game of the FA Cup was outstanding for the club and the fans, so if we process further that would be a bonus for us.

We're very proud of the team but we're truly proud of our new signing Connor Deards, who has 13 goals in 17 games. He has picked up a sprained ankle and will be out for up to 5-6 weeks, but we know as soon as he's back he will start scoring again.

In the up and coming weeks we will have to work on keeping the work rate up and making sure that our performance don't drop.

This has been a tough month for us after only picking up 4pts out of 12. But it's something we have to move on with as a team and make sure it's not a normal thing to happen at this club.

Being knocked out of The FA Cup was a disappointment but we put up a good fight and showed we can handle bigger clubs. After all we're still in The FA Trophy and hopefully we can make it to the final.

All in all this is a month to forget and as a club we will have to move on from this and give the fans the wins they want.
Still got plenty of time to turn your league fortunes around, but a lot of credit is due to your players for those fantastic cup exploits!
