Manager Month Talk and Rating

These two months have been great for us. We managed to pass the festive period without a single loss. But I am upset we haven't still beaten the Villans since I took over. I hope to break that in our return fixture.
I have nothing to say about the Champions League. It's a great achievement to get through to the knockout stages, and that big win against Real is my best ever win in my career. Internationale will visit us next and I have full belief that my team will overcome them.

My Month Rating: /
Lol you are absolutely killing it, nice work. You got out of a really tough UCL group, too. :D

Killing it. Great results against Madrid too
Wow! Amazing work there in the Premier League. Going great for the second title in a row.

And well done in getting through this hard group. Good luck against Inter ;)

Newcastle United vs Blackburn Rovers

Newcastle started their FA Cup campaign at home against Premier League's bottom side Blackburn Rovers. Many pundits tipped Newcastle to be clear favourites to win this match. Blackburn are really struggling in the league, and they sit bottom of the league. But they face a stern task against reigning league Champions Newcastle. Newcastle currently are without the services of star player Remy Cabella, who is injured. Blackburn will be without the likes of Ben Marshall and Rudy Gestede.

Newcastle dominated the match from the start. Mehdi Abeid's shot just went over the bar in 17th minute, before their patience finally paid off. Corner taken short by Savitskiy to Sissoko, who passed it to Abeid, who was lurking outside the area, and his bullet shot gave Steer no chance whatsoever. Newcastle 1-0 Blackburn.

Blackburn came out all guns blazing after the first half, but it was the magpies who scored again. A deep cross from Janmaat was straight to Riviere, who was unmarked and made no mistake slotting the ball home. Newcastle 2-0 Blackburn.

After that strike, Newcastle once again regained complete control of the proceedings. They extended their lead in the 80th minute when Ayoze slotted home a penalty conceded by Tommy Spurr. Newcastle 3-0 Blackburn.

The game ended and Newcastle once again showed why they are the English champions.
Final Score:

Newcastle 3- 0 Blackburn.

Manchester City vs Newcastle United

Newcastle next travelled to Manchester for their next game, this time in Premier League against the blues City. Newcastle were beaten heavily in their last visit to this ground 4-1, but they thrashed their opponents 4-0 in the return fixture at St.James' Park. Today the league leaders are expected to win against a hugely under performing Man City.

Man City, after their Champions League win last year, never produced the same results again. They are now slumped to 13th in the table. If they win today, they can leapfrog Stoke City and rise to 12th. Sergio Aguero is the key man for City as he scored in each of their last 4 matches.

Remy Cabella returns to the starting lineup, and other than that there are no changes to the team that beat Blackburn in the FA Cup.

City started the match in good fashion. Aguero somehow managed to get the ball past Krul, only to be flagged offside. This proved the turning point, as Lucas Digne headed home his first goal for Newcastle from a pinpoint Sissoko cross in the 34th minute. City 0-1 Magpies.

Newcastle doubled their advantage 2 minutes later when Ayoze scored from the rebound of Sissoko's free kick. City 0-2 Magpies.

Two assist man Sissoko then added to the scoresheet himself by lobbing the ball past Hart from a Cabella through ball. City 0-3 Magpies.

More goals to come as the 2nd half started, and Abeid found himself in the scoresheet again, scoring in the same manner as he scored against Blackburn. City 0-4 Magpies!! Game ON :)) .

The match was not yet over as Fernandinho scored a free kick in the 57th minute to give City some hope of at least drawing. :)) . City 1-4 Magpies.

The match had gone into injury time, when in-form striker Riviere decided that it was his time to make an impact. He duly delivered the goal from a Rotariu cross. City 1-5 Magpies. What a thrashing.

The match ended and it was City's biggest ever defeat against the Magpies, and it is a night the Magpies' players and supporters will never forget. Final score:

City 1-5 Newcastle

NOTE!!!

Sorry members of FM Scout, I think I will not be able to continue this story. It is a sad news for me, but I will not be able to play FM for about 6 months from now. That means I canoot contiue this story.
This is because I have been selected for the training camp of National Defense Academy(NDA)of India, which will start next week and end in 6 month's time. I will not be in my home, so i have to stop it.

I am honoured to be in this site, and to write this story. This has arguably been my best ever story in this site. I can't bear to end it, but it is what I have to do for the benefit of continuing my career. I may continue this story if I feel like it after 6 months. I will somehow keep in touch with the other stories using my mobile. So thank you to all my great supporters :)
A GREAT THANK YOU FOR ALL MY SUPPORTERS AND FOR YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT :) :)
