SooruSooru: Thanks mate :)
Very nice signins, really improving the squad. Looking really good.

Transfers out

I had to free up some funds to get those afforementioned players. Besides I need to offload some of the players from the team. Here's what I done.

Davide Santon left for Tottenham for £19M. It was sad to see him go. But as I said earlier I want to free up some funds. This all went according to plan as Santon said he needed to move to a much 'Bigger' club. So I transfer- listed him. Spurs were the first to react and we sold him for a quite reasonable amount. The big defender is said to be delighted at the opportunity of playing for the Spurs.

Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa was another high profile player leaving the club. He moved to Inter Milan for a reasonable amount of £11M. Both parties are said to be happy with the deal and Mapou will now ply his trade for Inter, who he faced a couple of times when he was at Roma last season.

This is undoubtedly the most surprising sale as Vurnon Anita, who was Newcastle's first team regular in recent years, was sent off to Germany, VFL Wolfsburg to continue his career. The club is slightly disappointed at the sale of Anita for a much lower price, £7M. Anita was deemed surplus to requirements after the emergence of Mehdi Abeid and new signing Will Hughes

Jak Alnwick, who once was touted to be Newcastle's next first team keeper, left the Magpies for Southampton, for a meagre £425K. Alnwick, who only made just 6 appearance for the Magpies last season, is said to be delighted at the opportunity of playing in red-and-white shirt.

Rob Elliot is the another goalkeeper leaving Newcastke to West Ham for £800K. Elliot , like Alnwick, only made 4 appearance last season and was set to move this summer. He got his wish and both parties are happy
next update will FA Community shield review
Nice money coming in. I think you made the right choices there for the team.
And if a player is unhappy, and can give you the kind of money like Santon, well ... it's better to take it, and you had a very nice replacment.
Good luck for that Community Shield :)
You brought in some large amounts of money, so you should have lots to play with now!
Murtagh: Thank you. but there is some bad news to come :(

Jack: Honestly I didn't believe I could get this big money from these sales

Man United win Community Shield

It was great match played at Wembley Stadium, as Manchester United defeated a spirited Newcastle United side on penalties following a 2-2 draw at full time. United won 4-1 on penalties. The crucial misses were by Mehdi Abeid and Remi Cabella, and it was up to Moroccan Younus Belhanda, who arrived at Old Trafford just the day before yesterday. He made no mistake in the penalties and sent the United fans into raptures. Newcastle were the dominant side throughout the 90 minutes, but luck was on the side of the Red Devils that day.

Post- Match Manager talk

Andre Villas-Boas: I am absolutely delighted that we was able to overcome Newcastle and win this trophy. I am also delighted to get the better of Sooraj Venugopal, but I completely agree with him that his side were the better team.

Sooraj Venugopal:I am absolutely gutted about the loss. I am not upset about the penalties, but I am furious that we weren't able to win the match in 90 minutes!!. They(United)were only a threat in the first 15 minutes. After that they didn't see our 6- yard box. I am glad to hear that Andre has agreed with me. That shows his class. I will always respect him. But his team was ridiculously lucky there

Newcastle have no time to worry about this result as they start their title defense in two week's time against Stoke City at St.James Park. There will be an exclusive update of that match. So don't miss it

Shame about the charity shield thankfully most think its irrelevant. Incredible first season and some out standing signings i'm guessing you'll make a big splash in the champions leauge. Good luck!

this is my most viewed story in this site yet. Thank you for all your support :)
Ooh, to bad about the Community Shield. After this recovery and dominance you should win.
But anyway, it's a good first look at the team this year, they look solid.
And nice squad ;)
Good luck for the season coming now, excited to see this team playing :)
Looks like a very strong team this season, use it well, my friend ;)
