Who will I be?
I will be playing as myself, no gimmicks, no long lost love for a former club I used to play for, just me. Just a fan of the club, with limited coaching experience. There will be a bit of a backstory and a few little storylines but as to what they will be remain to be seen.

Who will I be? Why?

Well I think based off the title that is quite obvious, Tottenham Hotspurs. Why? Well that's easy, it is the team I support and I want to see if I can't continue with the great work Pochettino is doing.

What will be my transfer policy on this save?

Well as you know, Pochettino has quite a young squad, I will continue with the core however I will be signing some youngsters to fill in the blanks. Down the line I might get a bit of experience to fill in gaps but expect the vast majority to be 'kids' as the story is called 'you can't win anything with kids' not pensioners.

What are my goals for this save?

I want to make us a dominate force, I want to make us the best team in England and I want to win the Premier Division, the Champions League, the FA Cup, the Capital One Cup and the Club World Championship during my tenure.

Changes at the Lane!

http://i68.tinypic.com/3451lio.jpg

News coming from White Hart Lane is that Pochettino was not happy with where his coaching stood compared to other teams and with his young squad it needed to be improved to help them reach their potential. Pochettino is believed to have been ruthless in his decisions by getting rid of some very loyal staff who have been with him since Espanyol and made no mistake in letting them know how he felt.

This is somewhat out of character for Pochettino who is known for his nice guy attitude and good working environment. But one of the biggest talking points however is the age of one of his coaches. He has hired a relatively inexperienced 18 year old coach to become the youngest professional coach in the history of football. Fans will undoubtedly be shocked by today's events but if it proves to work, they should have no qualms.
ggood luck im following and like the sound of this

Pochettino steps down!

http://i68.tinypic.com/2nkrp8j.jpg

Shocking news coming from White Hart Lane is that Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino has stepped down. This is shocking news especially considering he only just had a staff reshuffle but it's not out of nothing. He appeared to be out of character in the staff reshuffle. Could this be a break down? Could he of been unhappy with board?

So many unanswered questions, the main being 'What happens now?'. A lot of fans and the backroom or so we thought, saw Pochettino as the man to lead the club for years to come and he was on course to do just that. The thing the fans and everyone else will be wondering is. What's next? Who will the board appoint to continue this youth project and will they be able to fill the huge gap left by Pochettino?

We will bring you more news as we get it.
good update, keep it up!

Mystery Man takes charge!

http://i65.tinypic.com/2z6cgnt.png

Shocking news coming from White Hart Lane is that Tottenham have already replaced Pochettino, for the season at least. That's right, They have hired 18 year old Liam Moores as their manager. Not a lot is known about this young lad apart from he was hired to be part of the backroom staff before Pochettino resigned.

Could there be more to this than meets the eye? I guess we will have to wait and see. Liam Moores has no playing experience and no prior coaching experience past this morning. However it is thought that many were reluctant to take the job due to the expectations of the fans left behind from Pochettino. It is believed he will only be in charge till the end of the season while they search for a manager. It seems as though the board have written off this season and don't expect much.

3 in 2 out at the Lane!

http://i68.tinypic.com/a9loj4.jpg

The boss at the Lane may only be temporary but that don't mean the spending will stop, and he has splashed the cash making some major changes at the lane. He has brought in three players who will be sure to please the fans and fill in voids Pochettino didn't address.

The first transfer happens to be Belgium international Axel Witsel, a big commanding midfielder who will I am sure will fit right in with the Belgium players already at the Lane. He cost £10m, with the potential to rise to £20 depending on future performances and apperances. Witsel went on to make 77 apperances for Zenit, where he built up a reputation as one of the best midfielders in europa and I sure bet he hopes that continues at the Lane.

The next transfer was slightly cheaper being Gabriel Barbosa for a measly £8.5m, with the potential to rise to £10m depending on appearances. Gabriel Barbosa has been branded a 'Wonderkid' by fans, pundits and reporters alike, and fans will be hoping this kid can work wonders at the Lane. The final in is that of an English Winger, to replace an out, being Nathan Redmond. The English winger from Norwich cost quite a bit more than the other two with his price being set at £17.5m with the potential to rise to £28m depending on clauses. But the overall opinion at the Lane is that with his homegrown status and his potential he would be worth every penny.

Now on with the outs, The first being Federico Fazio, He was sold to Leicester for £5m and the overall opinion being that whilst they are unhappy to have made a loss on the Argentine, They were happy to let him move on for the better of his career as he wasn't part of their plans and didn't fit in with the system they were going to adapt.

The Final transfer of the day is another out, An English Winger by the name of Andros Townsend, The 24 year old English Winger will be heading to Vicarage Road for a fee believed to be around £10m. It is believed that the club, while sad that a long standing player for the club and someone who supports the club has to leave, it is for the better of the club and the players future.
