Amazing win man
Should be a very good season ahead if you do what's expected in cup competitions and with that game in hand on PSG!

Continuing to build his managerial resume, Dominique Arribage has been named French Manager of the Year. Arribage guided Toulouse during an impressive run in the UEFA Europa League as well winning the Ligue 1 title. During 2017, Toulouse impressed had a 60% win ratio across 53 matches.

“I am very proud of being named French Manager of the Year, there are some incredible managers from our country and to be considered the best… unbelievable.” said Arribage. “I would like to thank every single player who has played at Toulouse during my time as manager of the club as well as the backroom staff who are the true key to my success.” he added.

“When Dominique was hired, I knew he would display passion for the club and earn respect from the players based on his playing career at the club.” Toulouse chairman Olivier Sadran. “Dominique was able to command the respect of not only the players in the squad when he took over but also of every single player who has joined Toulouse since and I truly believe that is the key to his success.” he added.

Currently, Toulouse are still competing in the Ligue 1, UEFA Champions League, French Cup and Coupe de la Ligue. Arribage will soon be forced to prioritise those competitions in a bid to see his squad remain fit and healthy for the rest of the season.

Babic Set For Toulouse Transfer

Srdjan Babic arrives at Toulouse in search of European football

• Srdjan Babic arrives at Toulouse from Real Sociedad for €12.75 million
• The 21-year-old joins Toulouse on a four-year deal seeing him earn €13,750 per week
• The Serbian will battle with international teammate Uros Spajic to make the starting side

Looking to strengthen their side as they head into the second half of the season, Toulouse have moved early in the January transfer window in signing Srdjan Babic from Real Sociedad for €12.75 million. The 21-year-old Serbian joins Toulouse on a four-year deal which will see him earn €13,750 per week.

Babic played for Vojvodina in Serbia before joining Real Sociedad for €2 million. He has represented his country Serbia four times so far in his career, making his international debut against Lithuania in 2016.

“I enjoyed playing in the La Liga but I want to play in the European competitions.” said Babic. “I look forward to testing my skills in the UEFA Champions League and hopefully assist Toulouse in the successful campaign.” he added.

“The arrival of Srdjan helps us add depth to our defensive stocks while also adding another youthful talent that will hopefully be at the club for quite some time.” said Toulouse manager Dominic Arribage. “There is no doubt that Srdjan has a tremendous amount of talent, hopefully his time at Toulouse will allow him to live up to his potential.” he added.

The signing of centre back Srdjan Babic creates an interesting situation with his international teammate Uros Spajic who currently starts at centre back for Toulouse. With captain Emmanuel Mammana currently occupying the other spot in the starting side, Babic and Spajic will be forced to battle it out for the other position.
I hope he becomes one of your best signings to date

Big move for Toulouse, hopefully it pays its dividends!
1
Looks like he could be a very good signing mate! And after the financial troubles you were in last season, being able to spend that much money on one player is brilliant!
1
Very nice capture mate, sure he'll do wonders for you!
1
Nice signing he should boost your defence and surprisingly small wages

Leading Scorer: Wissam Ben Yedder (22)
Recent Form: WWWWD
Injuries: Cristian Pavon
Suspensions: N/A

Entering the Coupe de la Ligue semi-final, Toulouse will be without Cristian Pavon who has begun to shine during his third year at the club, scoring eleven goals and providing eleven assists this season. Toulouse have not lost to AS Monaco in the past three years, with their previous five fixtures seeing two victories to Toulouse and three draws.

“The Coupe de la Ligue remains the only trophy in France that I have yet to win during my time at Toulouse.” said Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage. “Hopefully we are able to get past AS Monaco and we will do our best to win the trophy for the first time in the history of the club.” he added.

AS Monaco

Key Player: Achraf Lazaar
Leading Scorer: Arkadiusz Milik (16)
Recent Form: WWLXL
Injuries: Andrija Balic & Matej Mitrovic
Suspensions: N/A

With no European competitions to worry about this season, AS Monaco find themselves completely focused on the Coupe de la Ligue semi-final after being eliminated from the French Cup by SC Bastia. AS Monaco have been in good form during the Ligue 1 season and should they maintain their current level of performance, it is expected that they will be playing European football next season.

“Our squad is ready for this game, the Coupe de la Ligue is our best chance at claiming a trophy this season and we don’t want to miss out on this opportunity.” said AS Monaco captain Jeremy Toulalan. “Toulouse have their focus spread across four competitions and are struggling for fitness, I believe we are favourites in this match for a reason and we will earn a place in the Coupe de la Ligue final.” he added.
